I totally agree with everything you said. Take your time, explore everything. That's the way it is meant to be played. I have played every assasins creed game this game is a blast to play.

Dont forget to loot the bodies after conquest battles. A little extra drachmae doesn't hurt :)

I agree with what you said. Initially I was hesitant to play odyssey reading all the mixed reviews, most bordering on it being bad. I am glad I decided to go ahead and play and haven't regretted it even once. The story and depth and vast maps with the amazing breathtaking visuals is simply a treat. I have at times just stopped at the edge of a hill or beach side and looked around at the beautiful scenery. It's really well done game and it's a crime to rush through this one!

Odyssey is crispy smooth

Sneak around the entire map and do all the synchronized points first. Next go after all the tombs. Then go to the arena and fight the same guys over and again to lvl up quickly. Then, explore whatever you like. There are lots of hidden secrets in this game. One of the best I have ever played.

Only thing missing is being able to build up your own settlement, everything else is perfect.

Love this game. Played through the first time is Kassandra. I have had so much fun with this game. I’m now enjoying Alexios, almost as much. I play the way you do. Squeezing every amount of enjoyment out of it.

I am only 14 hours in but I am loving this game! Great tips and it’s exactly how I’ve been playing the game. Surprise hit of the year for me.

one thing I really disagree with... "Do all the side missions". Do all the "golden" missions, yes. But 99% of side missions, are fetch missions. Go 300 meters that way and talk to NPC, done. If the quest marker is yellow (golden) and not white, then yes, do them. Completely ignore the white missions as they either is fetch/delivery missions, or kill three generic NPC missions. They reuse all the dialogues as well for these. They have no play value whatsoever, and their rewards are underwhelming to say the least.

This is the game I have played the most as Kassandra and also done the DLC of Atlantis. It is certainly the best I have played and I have played them all, except the AC after this. I have reach level 99 and the ship is 100% upgraded, they is nothing disappointing about this game and the flow and stories are top notch. This is at so many levels of interest and action, it’s just brilliant.

I jump from bush to bush while I snipe them out around the camps lol

This is how I have approached all of the AC games. I absolutely loved Origins for its revamped combat.. the same reason why many said it didn’t feel like an AC game but, it was so massive, so much to do. This game takes it further by adding naval combat again and I think the Cult organization pieces bring the heart of AC back into it. This game is fantastic. I am playing this game exactly the way you are, with the exception that I’ve been hunting down certain items I want, like Poseidon’s Trident. It’s level 41 but I snuck in and nabbed it at level 18 because I wanted its perk 🤓 And with all of the new content set to come out I will easily be playing this for the next year 😎

Great video. One thing I have trouble understanding is the engraving at the blacksmith.Can you only add one engraving to each weapon or piece of gear? Is that right?

Zalker - charges in and kills everyone with Alexios Me - spends an hour scoping out a camp with Kassandra only to find out it's the Spartan camp I'm meant to be helping (Kept wondering why they were respawning 😅😂)

I appreciate it the guy for making this video but my issue with the game is that the mercenaries and some of the enemies are just damaged sponges there's people that's made videos about doing 10 20 million damage I've never once done more than like two and a half and that's when I was like a level 90 something but I'd like to find out how I can take less damage and do more damage and make it a little bit more even cause the enemies are just too op it takes you like 50 hits versus their five it's crazy

I dont really take my time and just go mission to mission nkt taking anything in but after hearing some missions go away after chapters I started to take my time a soak in the environment

sometimes i attack some camp when mercenary chasing me, then hide somewhere and let them fight together, then i come like a boss and just hit few times the rest of them hahaha

Just got game in 2022, paid $11 for it. SO....I still like origins better, origins had better graphics and also I found that horse/camel was necessary where in this one I'm running everywhere as the terrain is rocky/hilly and the horse hinders you. Also, not having the horse able to jump when you want really sucks, ALSO why did they remove your shield but gave every soldier one??????? I really cant understand why in battles where there are countless enemies with shield that you don't have one, that's stupid. Origins had shields. In addition, the water looks better but when character swims, you emerge dry! in Origins your clothes would be wet and dripping water and Bayek would shake water off, this game doesn't have that animation. Lastly, Im pretty sure the parkour element in this is non existent, I remember playin AC games and climbing trees and using them to drop for assassinations and also escapes, this has none of that, they also removed the bird crap covered edges of cliffs where you could do leap of faith. WHY?

You have not played many rpg games if this is the kind of game to pass as one of the best you’ve played. It barely even counts as an rpg and the things it did to make it one it did badly. The stat management, the level scaling; all of it was done horribly
