Gotta be honest, I kinda freaked out when I saw the stats the wand was given when it was initially taken out of the box (Spruce, Phoenix Feather, 11 3/4 inches, Swishy) since those are the stats of the wand I got from the Wizarding World quiz

That is awesome! I just completed carving a Spruce wand for a friend as a gift for a birthday, and it’s an incredibly fun woods to carve, beautiful grain and such a creamy white color almost like ivory. He wanted it stained a deep grey which I did, and you can see the ripples of the dark grey grains mixed with paler grey. I carve the wands that chose people, and utilize the actual wood by finding it in nature or, if it doesn’t grow in my area, ordering it from someone who can collect tree branches to send me. It’s so satisfying to learn about each wood and what they actually look like and how they carve. I like how your wand is mixed with Phoenix, sounds like a very independent and playful wand that would take a lot of initiative in your partnership and act to help you in fights.

It’s my favorite part of the game! I love this part so much! My wand is a classic grey brown color, the wood type is cherry, the length is 13 inches, it’s flexibility is unyielding and it’s wand core is a unicorn hair core! I loved customizing my wand so much, I chose the classic grey brown wand cause I like my wand straight, not crooked and also cause I felt drawn to it. The wand really does choose the wizard. :)

Cherry and Unicorn are really cool, very lethal yet pure and loyal combination. Reminds me of Neville’s wand at the end of the series! I carve peoples Pottermore wands that chose them out of the real wood, with a secondary “Beloved Beast core” in which I insert a loved animals hair into the handle. I like working with cherry wood and other fruit woods, they are very strong and beautiful and carve very well. My own wand is Holly and Dragon heartstring from an Andipodean Opaleye, 12 3/4 inches, slightly springy. Absolutely perfect for me, and my husbands fits him perfectly as well, Fir and Unicorn, 13 3/4 inches, Reasonably Supple.

How did you make your skin tone so pale? I did the lightest and it looks Tan. I have the correct HDR settings to and tried it without and still doesn't look that pale.

Slytherin wasn't evil yes the vast majority of the people who were evil came from Slytherin but that just makes them evil not the house they are from.

@@plantainsame2049 yep, Slytherin is not an evil house , it's just Salazar himself was racist, so it's easy for racists to be put on that House....but at the end of the day , purebloods are minority , most of Slytherins , like in any other House in Hogwarts , are probably Half-Blood and Muggleborn.

Lol I havent been on the Pottermore site in years but I still remember my wand: Redwood and phoenix feather, 9 3/4 inches, slightly unyielding. The one I got from Universal Studios looks sort of like the “natural” style wand in warm brown.

@@hush6149 I'm Glad! Love John Hurt's work on both Harry Potter and Doctor Who. It's amazing to think that there are actors that have been in Harry Potter and have gone on to star in Doctor Who. David Tennant being the villain in the fourth film goes on to play the Tenth Doctor and even David Bradley who played Mr Filch is now the go to guy to play the first Doctor. His performance as William Hartnell in the Doco drama that came out in 2013 is a real heartfelt performance.

That character customization is the same as mine but my character is in Ravenclaw and my wand is fir wood about 13 inches with dragon as it’s core and my wand shares a resemblance to the elder wand.

When I started my game it had an option to roll over info from WB and another place if you wanted. I assume that is what you're referring to. I didn't have any so I just proceeded without.

I am totally buying this game. You can completely customize everything to fit your wizarding world profile. My character will be a Ravenclaw with an alder and dragon heartstring wand. Thirteen inches with a slightly springy flexibility.

Got a 14.5 inch, very bendy with a Unicorn Core. Only thing I changed was the wood to Dogwoood and the look to Stalk with the dark color. Sorting Hat put me into Ravenclaw.

Different location. This one is less diverse. That one is much bigger town (confirmed in Deathly Hallows - Rescuin Dragon part in the air).

I think it’s because it’s where it’s from that matters, like for example the way skateboards are made and how other skateboarding companies use different woods but have similar shapes but not noticeable

Yes. I didn't get yet with confirming Wizarding World site, but you get customized there already which you can customize it in this way before you make it permament to the entire game. Unless you start new character and choose different type for that one, of course.

If you did that, you get a customizable wand right off the bat. If you’re on the Wizarding World website & link your game & your Warner account THAT way, your character information & wand design is readily available to you after you start the game & after heading to Ollivanders respectively.
