I own the original printing of this book, but I’m still really happy to see it being reprinted! I know a lot of new readers have wanted to purchase it and the prices have been crazy on the secondary market. Zatanna is one of my favorite characters and it’s always nice to see her get some more attention! Just as an FYI - the first special that is in this book was originally a Vertigo book, so that’s why it has some F Bombs.

Zatanna was the daughter of one Magician-superhero. She is known to have had a thing with Constantine, prior to Moore's Swamp Thing.

Already sold out at my local comic shop 😂 I’ve been wanting to read about DC Characters I don’t normally read about, like Hawkman, Red Tornado, Plastic Man ect I’ve heard awesome stuff about this series and it does look awesome. Zatanna is really one of the most powerful and underrated characters in DC, she is awesome.

I read 4 issues, and I absolutely love the paul dini run on zatanna it made me love her character so much. Dc comics are criminals of not giving her more solo series, and maybe i am falling deeply in love with zatanna that I really want to check out both justice league dark runs. But I need to know does zatanna appears all throughout justice league dark in both runs and the crossovers?

I read all the Justice League Dark rebirth, and she's in every issue, whether in a big or supporting role. I haven't read the new 52 omnibus yet, but from flipping through it, she does seem to be in it a lot. Hope that helps.

She's in almost every new 52 justice league dark, I think there's a few where she isn't in it because she has to be saved, that's all I'll say.

@joshuamcvey953 Thank you so much. I was having a crisis of deciding to buy those omnibus because outside of superman family and sandman I am not a fan of the other heroes. But I will give justice league dark a shot since I love occultism and supernatural stuff.

I'm pretty sure I had this as a comic. I've seen it so many times, so maybe I'm mixing that up with having it. 🤔 Anyway, here we go again. I really like the cover and layout. Also, the story intrigues me so.. 😄

Been waiting for this for a long time. My copy arrived the day it was released. Going to read it very soon. Zatanna is the only woman I want Bruce to marry. Love her character and love those two together. Do it, DC!

No, Zatanna is a sweet girl and batman is not a family man. Id rather have her with someone with familiar background. I prefer her with Constantine. Dick grayson with barbara. Tim drake with stephanie brown. Jason with kara or cassandra cain is debatable though. Kyle Rayner with starfire or donna troy, take your pick

@@shaanwayne815 Not trying to be adversarial but you said that part of the reason why you don't want Zee with Bruce is because she's a "sweet girl" but you'd prefer her with an asshat like John? That doesn't make sense to me. I can't stand John. He has his moments when he says something that is actually funny or he does something badass, but other than that, I couldn't care less if John existed. I do understand the shared background aspect, but Bruce and Zee were childhood friends (in most realities) and he learned escape tactics from her dad (again, in most realities). Seems like a decent shared background to me. Not trying to change your mind. Just offering my two cents. I've been a fan of Bruce and Zee since the Batman: The Animated Series episode that featured her. I'm dating myself here, but I watched that episode when it first aired back in the 90s. I've been a fan of that pairing since. And for not being a "family man", Bruce sure does have a lot of "sons". I like the other relationships you listed. I'm curious if the 815 in your username has anything to do with the show Lost. Have an awesome day!

Is a really good collection it's too bad it reads incomplete since the original series was canceled before all the subplot were resolved, probably due to New52.
