When taking off my recoil spring I had the spring slip and fly across the room. Took me 3 days to find the retainer.

I'd also recommend wearing some safety glasses when putting the spring back into the recoil rod guide. Have had one spring too many go sailing past my eye.

Thank you again for a well done video! My B-33 top cover and B-10u handguard arrived two weeks ago. I wanted to give my 74m a face lift. Installation was easy and both components are solid. Craftsmanship is outstanding. I look forward to your newer videos!

@@fugu_facesr.7081 took a lot time iwth a lot of hammering LOL. rubber hammer works best. you can hit hard and wont brake a finger

That has to be the best way of replacing a recoil spring or guide rod set on an AK pattern rifle period! I have struggled in the past, now I know I was doing it wrong.

The spring was easy. Getting the top cover in is a pain. It got to the point where I just gave up. I have an AK 107 Arsenal. According to LegionUSA. The rifle and model I have, should of been compatible with b-33. I have the B-19 and B-10m installed just fine. Along with B-13 side mount. It should just slide in but it does not. It’s a very tight fit. I tried hammering it in but had to stop. Because it was getting scratched up a little. The rifle and the part.

Update. I managed to get B-33 installed. Everything is aligned properly. However two threads on the left side is not responding very well with the screws. They feel as if they are stripped. Why?

I worked at a gun store in Vegas where you can rent a machine gun and we'd get tourists from everywhere. When we had Russian tourists come in, they looked at our AK's and asked, "Is this good gun?" and I said "DA COMRADE IT'S KALASHNIKOV, USED BY SOVIET MOTHER RUSSIA!"
