Hello and also thanks for watching. A few things to correct… IMPORTANT UPDATE TO ZEPHYRS TORNADOES AS OF 2/20/24, UPDATE 35.1.0 Original comment contents below this segment. There have been some changes to Zephyrs Tornadoes, some good some bad. What's good is the tornadoes no longer have a "health value" of 500k damage, and they are now capable of continuously dealing absurd amounts of damage without fear of being disabled. Quoted directly from the 2/20/24 35.1.0 patch notes www.warframe.com/updates/pc/35-1-0 "Fixed Zephyr’s Tornadoes having an unintended damage cap of 500k. - The cap was causing Tornadoes to lose their adapted Elemental Damages and the ability to absorb new source damage once it had been hit. " That in and of itself is excellent, however there still seems to be a threshold the tornadoes hit after doing a certain amount of damage, or taking a certain amount of damage that disables their ability to take on new elements or something to that effect, so it's till not perfect, and I hope that this will be addressed in a hot fix soon. Of course, I'm not setting my expectations too high at all. Now for the bad news, which is pretty bad. Quoted directly from the 2/20/24 35.1.0 patch notes "Additionally, we fixed Electricity damage endlessly chaining between enemies in the Tornadoes and unintentionally contributing to the absorbed damage total." Electricity no longer endlessly chains between the Tornadoes. This has significantly impacted the power of electricity's viability on tornadoes. It isn't entirely off the table though, because if you can get a proc with sufficient damage can still do very well. The arca titron (as of April 4th 2024, slam capacitor is no longer exponential) in this case is still plenty powerful and can deal absurd levels of damage. Another weapon that did alright was the dread with a standard crit setup, serration, and a bane, with electricity acting as the exclusive element. This is all topped off with a rank 3 long bow sharpshot arcane. The damage sharpshot provides is a multiplicative bonus, and that impacts dots, and is even multiplicative to gundition overload. After landing a headshot for the bonus, casting tornadoes, and shooting through two of them the damage of the electric dots was enough to shred 20 185 SP heavy gunners. Gas seems to be impacted the same way electricity has been, as the clouds don't seem to trigger Gas damage on the other tornadoes, which also reduces the power of the set up. If you use and armor strip it can still do fine against grineer, but overall it does feel a bit worse. I am for sure missing out on some details cause I only did these tests haphazardly. Keep your eye open for other creators coverage of the changes to zephyrs tornadoes. I might even make a quick video if its necessary. These nerfs do hurt, but we will yet find a way to break this ability again, just you wait. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- (ISSUE REGARDING THE NATARUK AND TORNATOES ) First, the crit math on the passive at 6:57 ... the critical multiplier jumping from 2.1x to 4.2x is incorrect. It goes from 2.1x to 3.2x. The equation for finding the critical damage increase on tier increase = 1+Crit Tier * (Modded Crit Multiplier -1). With this we find that 1+2*(2.1-1) = 3.2x. Orange Crits are tier 2 crits for those who don't know. Second, I am very embarrassed about the dead time between 25:55 and 26:03. It is the longest 9 seconds I’ve ever experienced, and I’m shocked I’ve let it exist after 2-3 months of editing. Please excuse that slip up. Third, I just realized in the intro sequence I’m boosting the crit of the felarx with her passive, and have avenger equipped. Clearly I forgot about those things and used the felarx because… it’s the felarx. I promise I’m not that stupid, I was just pulling a WF player moment. A stellar first impression on a video about giving you good information. I’m a decent source I swear. - ISSUE AMENDMENT I've encountered an issue worth reporting here involving an issue with the Nataruk and issues it has applying crit to tornadoes. I’m using the Nataruk on tornadoes and finding I cannot get crits above the first tier. Apparently this is documented, just not on the damn wiki of course. Searching the issue leads me to a forum post, where Xbox user VinniVici reports that this issue has existed long before the nataruk. Originally thought to apply to all projectile weapons, but of course the dread is able to reach well beyond yellow crits. There is too much to put in this amendment, so I will link the forum link at the bottom of the description. Corrections will be made and addressed in the augment video.

The wind master, underrated and underused. Zephyr had everything on her sleeves but always lack of mains made her a hidden OP frame that underutilized by many.

Truly one of the most in-depth Zephyr guides out there. I never actually thought about how intricate her kit was, being that each skills have multiple functions before we even get to the augments. But she definitely is one of the more powerful frames, and my inspiration for building Sentinels because Turbulence keeps them happy and healthy. I love how humble you are with the slip ups that you have made, and how you have credited so many people. I can't wait to see the future videos you produce.

I have a note on Turbulence. When casting, do it in the air and on the move. It locks you in place when you're on the ground, but if you're mid bullet jump, it'll be done before you hit the ground and you can keep moving.

What an amazing breakdown of Zephyr! I disagree with some of your build choices, but I feel like I actually understand tornados now. I usually build for a slower tailwind that's actually useful indoors, with airborne damage resistance and Target Fixation ("Floor is Lava Zephyr"). Great video! I'll happily subscribe. On a side note, Tailwind dash can be interrupted by jumping, in case you are modded for uber speed and you need more control.

If you keep making these videos, you will start understanding the game very well due to trying to figure things out. I basically relearned how to do basic math since starting my channel.

I usually run Mesa Prime, Nezha, Wisp, Octavia and Saran Prime, but you have inspired me to try Zephyr out! I’ve been back for roughly a week after taking an extended break, and was looking at either Mirage Prime or Zephyr Prime (had farmed them up completely before my break). Zephyr it is!

Immediate upvote because… well instead of farming for likes or subs or clicking that bell, after talking about how this was quite the undertaking… you asked for feedback. Just getting back in to warframe and I am astonished by some of the new creators tackling this game and creating content around it. It can be really hard with players coming in from literally any point. Great video! I'd been thinking about playing Zephyr for a long time and never really fully made the jump. I kinda had my suspicions that she was underrated but you really sold me, lol.

Man, This is now my favorite Zephyr video. It was very informative which is exactly what I wanted. Warframe is a very complicated game and that's exactly the reason why I love it. So I really liked seeing you take your time and breakdown Zephyrs mechanics. I especially loved the Tornado section. It's a complex ability and that's why Tornado is my favorite ability in the game, it's synergy with the games mechanics are incredible and ofcourse it's monstrous strength. I am trying a new build myself right now, I haven't finished it yet as I haven't got the right Archon Shards. Aura: Growing Power Exilus: Cunning Drift Archon Continuity, Constitution, Stretch, Augur Reach Streamline, Rolling Guard, Target Fixation, Funnel Clouds Arcanes: Molt Augmented, Molt Efficiency I am using a primary with toxin damage and Primary Blight arcane which increases the crit damage to nearly 10x which is then increased further by 200% by the tornadoes. I am also using Archon Continuity and that will cause the tornadoes toxin procs to also proc Corrosive which I will increase to 14 stacks using 2 emerald archon shards, that will fully armor strip and with how fast the tornadoes proc statuses they should be able to armor strip instantly before doing huge damage. I love the gas and electric build and I don't think my build will match it's strength but I wanted to try something a bit different just for fun. Anyway I wanted to say how much I loved your video and also share a fun build I am working on. Now I am going to watch your Zephyr augment video. Also I really enjoyed your editing style. The pacing was great and I really enjoyed those scenes of Zephyr and her friends aswell. Great work!

Very informative. Been playing Zephyr quite a bit recently, as I got tired of Wisp. It seems like a very versatile frame. I am pre New War so don't own many end game mods yet. My build relies on maximising bullet jump and aim glide. I use Kuva Bramma as it's the most fun I've had and the strongest weapon I own. My build looks like this: Equilibrium, Continuity, Flow, Intensify, Stretch, Natural Talent Motus Signal + Impact - Reduce knock down Vigilante Vigor + Armaments - Multishot + extra red crit chance Patagium - Aim glide duration Hunter Munitions, Galvanized Chamber, Crit Delay Weapon has Heat + Viral attack and Viral + Blast radial. Ammo drum - yes. Carrier with Vacuum and ammo mutation for Bramma. It SHREDS! And is super safe at the same time. I bullet jump upwards, hip fire, aim glide fire, secondary jump, hip fire, aim glide, hip fire - rinse and repeat. This way I'm in the air most of the time and rain arrows *grenades* down. Any recommendations from more seasoned players welcome!

Not gonna lie, I just came back to this game after about 4 years of being away from it. I never gave Zepher a look in my time playing, though around the time of the rework I heard she became quite the powerful frame. But this video got me to change my main. After giving Zephyr a proper try, I find it hard not to pick her for every activity that I can pull off with her kit, and even on missions that she isn't great at, I like to take her. Fashion is great, survivability and playstyle is great- and swapping out her 1 for Spectrorage + Spectrosiphon makes for a really nice self-sustaining defense or survival build, if you don't mind losing the hovering. If you're just skimming this video and reading the comments, I implore you to give this video a full watch and give Zephyr an honest try. She's too good not to use, and more importantly (at least to me), she's -fun-.

This is a great video for Zephyr! Thanks for posting. I'm a fairly new player(one month in) and had built Zephyr to do some spy missions and agility hall test on lua. But I really liked the ability kit she has, so I wanted to mod her for combat too. This video helped me a lot to figure out how to properly use her abilities and which ability stats to focus on. Edit: Also, her 1 is great when you have to run away from those Venomous Eximus units lol

Thank you for making such an in depth guide to Zephyr. She's been my favorite warframe for years, but I've been away for a bit and was thinking about coming back, but was always frustrated with Zephyr's weak damage. I see some things have changed and you've shined a light on some things I didn't know about, though unclear if they used to work that way or not (notably Tornados, although 1 and 2 are now the same button and we have Airburst *so it's been a minute*). Honestly excited to get back in there and try it out.

You basically taught me to not sleep on airburst and tornadoes...I would use the first and third ability but would usually slot out airburst. Now I know how useful her WHOLE kit is and how lenient you can be with your guns
