Man, Queens are so OP. They can pump out workers to fund infinite zerglings. Can you imagine having infinite mineral income with a bunch of basic ranged units? Man, I wish Terran had access to such luxuries.

the last one protoss is internally struggling with himself. He is super aware that he's titled out of his mind and explicitly expressing his outburst to his opponent. He is constantly switching between the two state of throwing tantrum and apologizing while being slightly embarrassed at the same time.

also baseball generally has 9 innings. The guy was pointing out the game had gone into overtime (extra innings) so long, the players had basically played two whole games back to back. Very rare.

Heck yeah new salt mines. This is the best series. Occasionally I feel bad laughing at the absurd rage but I think it reminds me how childish I’m capable of being myself if I take a game too seriously 😁 The tilt is REAL. I wonder how many players on this show are on like a 5+ game losing streak?

Games are only 9 innings long. To go to 18 is like having an entire other game in overtime. That’s why the guy was so excited. It would be like a Football match going into 180 mins and the winning team scoring with seconds left on the clock.

I'm betting aruetii thought the zerg was on 3 base, maybe assumed 4, and when he killed 2 of the zerg bases, including the lair, he assumed ares was thus flodding lings and banes off of 1 base, rather than thinking he was flooding a bank of lings from throughout the game and banes off of 3 base.

I do have my issues with the design philosphy of forcing zerg to so heavily rely on queens but as it stands They would get so boned without them. Part of this is the fact all their anti air units (hydras mutas corruptors and infestors) are locked to lair tech and each has their own unique tech building meaning and all of them demand at least semi competent unit control.

In QueenOP's defense, the SC2 queen is fundementally stronger by virtue of not requiring gas, and having 50 more HP compared to the SC1 queen which had a 50 second build time. SC2 queens are a touch more annoying, HOWEVER, in the mid to late game queens are practically wet tissue paper to a proper push. Queens are really necessary to protect zerg from early aggression, since wall-offs aren't exactly Zerg's specialty, so early game defensive units is important for Zerg, but they should've renamed the SC2 queen to something else due to just how different they are.

Just in case people are curious the average baseball game is 9 innings and around 3 hours. Astros Mariners went 18 innings and almost 7 hours

Man I wish Queens were as easy to use for me as some of these Terrans think they are. Just making sure to keep adding them to control group is enough of a pain in the ass already, and after last Transfuse nerf they've become even more of a headache, since I'm not good at spreading creep early on.

@@jackawaka are you seriously comparing a queen to a disruptor? Yeah, sure disruptor is a nice unit and it requires some skill. However, disruptor aren't as versatile as queens. They give zerg injections, creep and are great defensive and even offensive tool in some scenarios.

@@jackawaka The unit that cost no gas, not supply heavy, increases economy and production, requires the lowest tech (only pool), doesn't disrupt production (doesn't require larva), is a spellcaster, is ranged, has anti-air attack with decent range, doesn't require much support, is neither light nor armored and is not limited to 1 unit. And disruptor is better than that? No chance. Queens are great. They have a huge impact for a single unit. They are not op for 2 main reasons: they are early game and economy focused units and the zerg is balanced around having queens and that's how the zerg works. P.S. If you want to compare their value try to win a game without building disruptors and try to win a game without any building queens. I don't recall any other unit being so essential for winning besides workers. P.P.S. Mothership core occupied the exact same role for the protoss in WOL. I just remembered that.

1:45 yea omniscience and omni-science is spelled the same way (excluding the hyphen). "Science" comes from the latin word "scientia" which means knowledge. So the word science is just knowledge, and omniscience can mean either "all-knowledge" or "all-science" depending on how the root is meant to be interpreted.

Baseball games have 9 innings. A game going to the 18th inning is nuts because it means the game has a whole games worth of extra innings to break the tie.

lol PiG it's the effort that counts on the baseball search XD. 18 innings is twice the normal game length. That's how long they were in overtime essentially. It would be like a soccer game having 180 minutes of playtime, 90 min of extra time.

Go play campaign, then try playing vs AI, when you are good enough to beat harder ai, try the ladder. If you have a friend who wants to try, 2v2 can be very fun.

Must confess I am guilty of occasionally getting frustrated with ling floods. If I took too much dmg from one of those attacks id be typing "ZZZZZZZZZZ M ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ F2 A" to tell the nasty zerg exactly all he did to win the match (lol) Its not until I actually got myself into a space where I could sit down and really watch what clues I missed that would have helped me defend. Would I have still lost those games? Possibly but I'd have done a lot better if I paid attention to the little clues I missed.

I think Terrans would do better to just move the reaper out of the zerg/protoss base and check back in a minute later to check their tech path. Once you are actually good you can make use of the reaper to be irritating.

QueenOP reminds me of avilo. It's like he doesn't even remotely complain about what makes him lose, just makes nonsensical random excuses like "3 nexus is so good!" when barely being able to macro. Just the worst, slowest player ever who screams the same repetitive excuse (e.g. "he hacks") every time they lose regardless of what they lost to.

do you remember an old salt mines video with sixworkers, I just watched thay before this and it sounds exactly the same "spam 1000 bases 100000ling" "spawning pool unit vs CAPITAL SHIP" (the queen unit) they are also playing somewhat the same, and the complaining is the same, it might be the same person. it would be funny if it is the same person.

You're wrong about that 3 base timing though, you cannot go 3cc into 10 hellions and 20 marines at 6 minutes, that's just wrong. 2 base 5 rax allin with tanks hits around 6:30-7:00 (that's from GSL game, 6:30 is from CC First into 2-1-1, any hellions or banshees or going reaper expand delay it) You can do hellbat attack with 3cc, but youll have like 5 marines at 6 minutes.

I always preface what I say with I only play vs bots if I want to play the normal game... genuinely I feel terran is the easiest race to play, and terran vs zerg is definitely harder than vs protoss (later in my opinion), but early terran feels a lot stronger. Maybe I think this from watching beastyqt when he played starcraft (saying this because watching him taught me how to actually do a 1 1 1 opening smoothly and harass). Protoss is the easiest race if you're cheesing though 100% cannon rush is free (vs bot.. players can stop it). If you want to just spam win vs hardest AI (not cheater 1-3) then cannon rush and win easily in 3 mins every game every matchup
