I remember an English journalist referring to this game as "Zidane's Rain Dance". It's one of his most memorable games for Real Madrid. Valencia was one of Europe's best teams at the time and apart from that...the conditions were horrible for football with all that water on the pitch. Yet...Zidane was at his elegant, skillful and visionary best. That assist in the end....as the commentator says "Solo Zidane, solo Zidane". 🙌🏿

obviously a wonderful perfromance and a great quality video as always by our favourite youtuber. thanks mate. but i like to refer to one of his moves in this game that sums up his excellent control over the ball.in his first assist to ronaldo with that superb outside of the foot pass, the pass before it. the one touch pass with his left foot to i think figo. that pass seems so simple and people ignore it but that was the pass that carved up the defence and figo brilliantly answered it to him with one touch too and that lead to that mesmerizing goal. it requires great game reading and vision plus the superb ability to execute it on that level and precision. great stuff.
