Enjoy your underpowered sedan. Test drove both City and GT Sport before, wont go back to driving the City again. Lol.

I highly doubt it but I think MG is in Mexico and some central American markets. If MG ever has plans to penetrate the US and Canada, they might rebadge their models into something more "familiar" - Roy

Between this, the Civic(too expensive)and the Empow, I would choose this. It looks the business and has the power and poise to back it up.

@@bojobanaag1622 for what it offers if you look at it rationally this offers the same features a Civic has. The only thing missing is Honda Sensing which in a drivers car the lack of it is a blessing.

I’ve just ordered one in Australia and your review has made me very excited. I took the lower variant, branded as the Vibe in Aus, for a test ride, knew I needed more power. Not after anything crazy, but something that makes the drive fun. It will be yellow, too! 😃

Based on my tests the Altis 1.6G feels like a more traditional sedan, it’s not fast, not nimble but very comfortable inside. The MG GT Sport dials all that up to 11 with a quicker turbo engine and a more advanced and future-thinking interior. I think we’re due for an update for the Altis. -Roy

In terms of reliability and resale value, I'd be much more comfortable with the Almera or CIty as well.

I got a sports variant and it was better than the civic rs that i tested. Very fuel eco

@@jamesk2310 handling got 2 settings sports and normal. i try it on a track 97km can turn nice using sports mode suspension. Normal driving it handled like a lancer ex gta
