Shockingly expensive for two laps but I have to say what great fun. The fact that you can control the speed is perfect for anyone nervous about coasters or that may have a heart condition. For me I would have it in full throttle to get the max experience out of it. Great vlog Shawn and Charlotte.👍😎

Definitely one of the best channels I’ve come across in a while. I actually have next to no interest in amusement/theme parks other than nostalgia from when I was a kid but I’ve always gravitated towards people who are passionate about what interests them and Shawn clearly loves what he does. I initially searched for some videos on my local M&Ds as I used to go there as a kid and found this channel and since then I’ve been hooked.

You can tell they have spent a lot of money on the whole site in terms of all the new buildings and brand new attractions.....their initial investment costs will have been very high....so the prices are steep but understandable.......i see them coming down in the future. another great vlog TPW !!!

Very nice to see a new and unique style attraction but that price is extreme!! When you consider that with 'local' discounts, a 10 hour day ticket to Portaventura can cost €30 / £25! Consider that against two runs on this.. incredible price..!!

The zipwire in video is the second shorter and closer to the ground zipwire. The first one you can’t see from the base. It’s longer, higher off the ground and goes over a lake.

I don't believe that we can see alpine coasters as actual coasters I think. And by the looks of it, this is a modernized version of Wiegant's powered alpine coaster. That's because you can make your own speed.

They should use that mining tower to build their own Baron Achttienachtennegentig!

That zipline you show is the second zipline down. The first one comes right over the reservoir much higher. The second tower is located at the finish of firsts zipline. I’m living just near by great that people are coming from far to use it.

Fab video mate you zoomed in on the 2nd wire mate the first one come from way up above that one you walk from the first ones Break run to the 2nd tower also the Parachutes Is put on if the windspeed is up cause it needs to be a certain speed when it’s in the break run they use them on velocity 2 in north Wales

I didn't know that this existed, until today. The area of Thrill Rides can be spectacularly unforgiving. This year, 2023, I've identified a need for Rider Controlled Roller Coasters. I actually mean once that can be used to an intensity of high Gs, big drops, and inversions. This variant is the closest thing in the world to such an idea. So this coaster vehicle can actually climb gradients by itself! The problem is that it will not be able to manage a steep gradient and especially not a vertical loop. To overcome that problem, on the track propulsion is needed. However, the prerequisite propulsion method has already existed for 41 years - Drive Tyres (Friction Wheels), which were first used for roller coaster launches on Wiener Looping (Bullet since 1991; until 2005 it was at Flamingo Land!) All that was lacking was the computing power for the Rider to be able to control the Drive Tyres. Once intense Rider Controlled Roller Coasters finally become reality, I think they will be the first roller coaster rides taken by anyone who hasn't ventured into anything so intense before. I think it's unacceptable that being forced to complete an entire ride is the only way to try these thrills. You should search these terms on Twitter and you will find it there!

I would like to see them plant a bunch of trees around the track and then wait a few years. Since the track runs so close to the ground, I think it would add to the feeling of speed and would be like real-life RCT or Planet Coaster

They could make the same $ or more by lowering the price. It could also help with word of mouth advertising (the best kind). More will ride if the price is lower. *One ride* is basically half the cost of admission into most large Amusement parks. Look at other Alpine coaster, they're at least half (or lower) the cost of this. They're usually much longer rides as well. Looks like fun but I would pass at it's current ride price.

That looked really good fun! Unfortunately I am unable to do fast or spinning rides due to ear problems but I think I could manage that. I do agree with you that is does seem expensive for just two laps though.

The Zip World Tower looks a lot like Baron 1898 Lift Tower to me in the Netherlands at the Efteling! With the supports and wheel on top funny. I just thought about the failed one Maurer's Spike Racing Coaster, in which you could also accelerate yourself and which looked like an Alpne Coaster Model.😀

Great vid. Went to flamingo land today and I have to disagree with your vlog as it is super clean and looks so well cared for. This must have been done after you vlogged it I guess but we've always found it spot on.

Coaster looks unique, see they run out of time to finish station before opening though. Like the idea of leaving junk around and saying its natural lol. Way to expensive to take a family here. I might sell my house to get a couple of laps though.

Glad you mentioned about it needing a bit of a paint up. Know it’s old buildings but they do look a bit messy and could be tidied up - especially at that price!

Looks great but I agree, never at that price point. With deals and vouchers £25 is around the price I would spend to go to one of the major theme parks and ride as much as I want. It's extortionate. At minimum wage it would take me almost 3 hours to earn that!! Even if I was the biggest enthusiast in the world I can never justify paying that price.

£25 a ride, that's ridiculous that has put me right off!!

Went on this on Thursday on a beautiful warm and sunny day. It was actually really good fun but my second go was ruined by a woman two cars in front who decided half way round to just move with the minimum acceleration which slows all the cars behind down to the same speed when you get close enough. Also, went on the Zip Line which was an amazing experience, but the one you show in the video is the second smaller one, you have to come down a much bigger and higher one first to get to that one but you cant really see it from the ground as it's hidden by all the trees

Sadly wont last long at that price for 2 laps... once the novelty wears off they will have to reduce it
