I used to be very big into car stereo. Bought it all piece by piece and wired it all myself. I have/had a friend who was an absolute expert. One time, I asked him, if the numbers all lined up, how I could tell if a brand was good or not. He responded: "You know more than you're giving yourself credit for. Except they really didn't? Biggest leaks have & will always be players/agents/family/friends along with usual staff. Just look at all the in depth articles that came out in past few weeks. Only thing that didn't leak right away was Manager stuff & that's only cause even they didn't know what they wanted to do till they visited ETH in Ibiza days before they confirmed him staying.

People need to understand you can't just swap most players seeing as they hold a value that has to be amortised over time/when sold, so usually you always need a figure to write off their balance with unless it's a academy product/someone whose contract lapsed/renewed for free.

Tbf, I remember us being relatively under the radar when we did the LVG signings, waking up to Di Maria, Blind, Falcao, Rojo.. then the likes of Schneiderlin and Schweinsteiger, Depay, Darmian, all very out of the blue, felt like we were Galacticos haha

Don’t necessarily wanna see Marcus leave, especially to another PL club, but feels more of a possibility than it ever has been recently. Ste’s point about his relationship with the fans is bang on. Also, wan bissaka should be kept as a squad player/backup, he was one of the very few who actually wasn’t pure shite last season.

Maybe that’s what we’re going to get under INEOS. The papers, media are just guessing and when INEOS finally gets someone new in, the club will be the first to announce it on the official Man United website?? Or maybe the press liaison office will tell SJR’s favourite daily rag. One thing I just can’t get my head around is SJR owns NICE!! The GLAZERS own UNITED so why should there even be a problem with signing anyone from Nice??? Can anyone from the explain this to me, because there’s obviously something ridiculously simple that, I just can’t get my head around??? It's cos uefa comsider interested parties. The fact SJR/Ratcliffe own 100% of nice and 29% of MUFC so in uefas opinion they are interested parties so can't transfer players between each other as both in europa. Man City getting a player off girona who is also owned by city football group but exempt cos girona not in CL or cos the deal agreed before uefa brought in the new rule

Zirkzee isn't the striker that will take us back to the top. He's alright but not the level required for elite football. We must find a better alternative like Vlahovic or Guirassy. Branthwaite ain't worth the money Everton value him. We can't have another situation like we did with Maguire. We need Todibo or De Ligt since Kim Min Jae is out of the question. It's about time Wan-Bissaka and Lindelof are deemed surplus to requirements. They haven't been good enough for Manchester United in the long term. Wan-Bissaka wasn't bad in his first season but his inability to improve his attacking game and his style don't fit the system that we want to play means he's obsolete. Lindelof is weak in the air and awful in his physical game. Yes he can pass but he's a liability for Manchester United.

I agree about Zirkzee but vlahovic is too expensive if he' isn't first choice. Johnathan David is a better option for £25m. AWB is a good back up and a good choice to have for certain games. Problem is his contract has a year left, they either need to extend or spend a large fee to replace him.

That ship sailed long ago and they will never go for him now given that he is the way he is. I'm same with Zirkzee, 3/10 Todibo, is a clear no no. 0/10 DCL, was a very good Forward but not now. 0/10 Rashford, he needs to change something, whether it's attitude or club I don't know, 4/10 Greenwood, cannot stay at the club, Utd should just cancel his contract, 7/10 Wan Bisake, love the guy and don't want him to leave, if we can use him to get another player, 8/10 Lindelof is off, Anything at the 10 mil is great. 8/10 Morata, God no. 1/10 Ogata, as long as he doesn't cost too much get him, 6/10

There's lots of speculation as always. If united enquire about a player, they can't control the club united asked a question to or the player's agent from leaking it to the press. There's been a big reduction of leaks since Ineos came in.
