I’m sharing with you today how I make Zongo Chicken Stew for rice. But of course you can pair it with anything you like and it can also serve as your Jollof base. I hope you enjoy this recipe and give it a try. Blessings to you all🙏🏾❤️

***Ingredients***
3 Whole Chicken (Layers)
*To marinate the chicken *
1 medium Onions
1 bulb Garlic
1 cup chopped fresh Ginger
1 Scotch bonnet
1 twig fresh Rosemary
20 medium size fresh Tomatoes
1 cup tomato paste/purée
2 tbsps Chilli paste ( recipe on my channel)
1 cup ginger
1 bulb garlic
2 medium Onions
Spices
2 tsp ground anise seed (nkitinkiti)
2 tsp Calabash nutmeg (wedeaba)
1 tsp Star anise (Star)
1 tsp Cloves (pepre)
2 tsp Curry powder
2 tsp White pepper
2 tsp Black pepper
2 tsp Turmeric
3 tsp vegetable Bouillon/ any Maggie cube of your choice
Oil to fry
Salt tt
