I think I would have accepted that a lot more. These speedsters (yes...tha includes Godspeed unfortunately) are all very experienced with using their powers. Eddie on the other hand doesn't know how to use his powers properly and Flash is smacking him around. So to even the playing field, while the other speedsters are just about to kill the other heroes...BAM they lose their powers thanks to Eddie taking it away to gain the upper hand on the Barry and then the heroes defeat the villians.

Teddy Sears gives it his all every time he gets on the show. That’s why I love his character so much. His cameo in Season 5 was so good. Such a small scene yet he conveyed so many emotions. Really great actor!

@@scrublord101 just want to point out that Savitar's armor is just for an upgrade. As a Barry time remnant he was still connected to the speed force, he's actually the only big bad speedster that used the speedforce instead of negative speed force or artificial speed/velocity X

Yeah but that has nothing to do with the real question we’re all asking What the HECK went wrong when they wrote this episode?! It’s not even the cgi that’s the problem, the cgi was pretty much even better than season 1 in my opinion (mainly throughout this fight scene), that’s why I’ve always have had a problem with the writing more when no one seems to talk about that and all they can talk about is look, here’s another cgi monster that looks like a welll… cgi monster. What’s wrong with that when the quote on quote “cgi monster” is being portrayed so badly, along with these ICONIC villains.

@@explodev2550 the fact the final season of flash had so many episodes without the flash and was focused on the friends ruined it. Same problem as arrow the main character became a side character in their own show. The writing and how rushed this was was horrific and honestly I'm so sick of the Wells Thawne....like you just had Matt return as thawne a few episodes ago and go back to wells here I liked the show but man did it go down hill, this last episode is just proof

In the Flash s1 ep 2, we can see when Barry was talking to Iris about his speed in Flashtime, we see Iris frozen and at that time, Barry wasn’t even close to Mach 1. In s2, Zoom was moving faster that Mach 4, In s3, we can only see Savitar moving faster than Mach 3 even though his faster than that, In s7, Godspeed was moving at Mach 5, In s8, Barry with 5% of his speed (no forces) was running at mach 20 and Thawne (no forces) was right behind him but a little slower, Then how did Kione and Cecile defeat Zoom and Godspeed!?!???! Like how can they react so fast🤨 And how did Eddie even convince the other speedster? It’s like the speedsters became dumb, slower and less evil😂

Why I never liked is the fact that speed is inconsistent in the entire show. Zoom is actually faster than Mach 4. If you watch trajectory Barry has to go Mach 3.3 to stop her which makes that his fastest. Then in the next few episodes he makes a tachyon accelerator which made him not only 4 times faster but fast enough to travel to different earths. The show explicitly states that it’s just as fast as zoom making zoom’s speed Mach 13.2 and Barry’s speed as well. I can’t really remember the rest since I haven’t watched in years

Karma., and if you actually stop and THINK about it instead of nitpicking the scene, it makes complete sense if you're in Zoom's shoes. Zoom threw the lighting at Kione, intending to attack her, and she absorbed it. Not only did she surprise HIM with that, but she IMMEDIATELY threw it back at him with no hesitation. There was no way for Zoom to counter that. Back in season 2, Zoom knew exactly what was coming, because he was the one who taught Barry that, and knew he'd immediately go for it. ....doesn't help that back then, Barry took fucking forever to do it.

Thawne was bastardized years ago and Godspeed was always mid, Savitar's fight was at least a speedster fight so it was automatically better than the rest...but Zoom. Fuckin Zoom was the only villain who had remained goated from season 2 to his season 5 appearance and all his mentions. But the show had to make sure they ruined the only good villain they had left before ending the series. Absolute trash

He was still egotistical at times because he knew he could kill any of them at any second. Obviously that carried over to this episode and he wasn't experienced with Khione who was a literally Goddess.

I must say the actions pretty good and at least they gave zoom one of the bigger defeats but this is a pretty underwhelming finale but at least it isn’t terrible, just anticlimactic. After a couple days I would say the zoom defeat isn’t terrible but the entire battle could be considered so, the ladder half where the goodbye’s take place are the best part by far

Zoom with red lightning ?! Awesome ! But I don't like the fact that new caitlin can stop zoom's powers. Edit : this bullshit caitlin is a "godess", I missed that part but she's to OP against Zoom. Main villains were beaten in few seconds. TRASH FINALE ! Godspeed should have kill the clown Cecile, Thawne should have kill that trash chester and his girlfriend, same thing to savitar and zoom.

It was already proven that Zoom is stronger then Frost. Go back to season 2. Earth 2 Frost did hit Zoom and did say go. Earth 2 Frost also said she cannot hold him any longer and told the rest to leave. Long story short, when Earth 2 Frost was about to kill her doppelganger, Zoom came and killed Earth 2 Frost. It proves that Zoom can beat Frost but cannot beat Khione. The footage already tells the story. If you wanted to see zoom fighting against Frost, you just need to go back to season 2.

At the part of Jay stealing Eddie's speed i wish the lightning went from red to yellowish orange like its negative red since its from Eddie and transforming to positive yellowish orange going to Jay but using the 90's flash theme was a nice touch because the trick is from him

Ngl this whole concept of Eddie Turing evil and getting all the villains should have been the whole season how cool would it have been to have a somewhat similar scene to ps4 Spider-Man where all his enemies kick his ass. Imagine the possibility’s and potential to seeing savitoir seeing a Barry that’s not evil or having zoom talk to Caitlin and could have feelings again and extra. And Eddie’s transformation should have been the whole season or at least a few, not just one episode then make him the main villain out of nowhere with 2 episodes of build up.
