This video covers the standard ( 1435mm) and Russian (1524 mm) gauge lines that operate alongside each other East of Kosice in Slovakia during early May 2018. The yard at Zeleznica acts as an interchange between the Ukraine and Slovakia, where we see standard and broad gauge 771's (771 8xx being broad gauge variants). We also return once again to Kalsa and spend an evening watching operations on both lines. A visit is also paid to Celovce where we see an international overnight sleeper train followed by a freight hauled by class 125 8xx locos on the broad gauge line. Finally, we spend some time at Ruskov which is where helper locos are removed from Westbound freight trains.
