I installed zzp lowering springs in my G5 and noticed much better handling. I would have gone with Bilstien shocks with it. All the suspension travel can put a lot of stress on your shocks, esp when you hit bumps.

Good springs will last the life of the car. Paired with good struts and you will have an overall nicer setup for daily driving. Coilovers have a lot of adjustments but if you're not racing or tracking your car it's a bunch of adjustments you'll never use. So $1200 will get you a great set of springs and struts. $1200 on coilovers will get you a decent set of coilovers ( entry level ) and will only last a few years B4 needing rebuilt. Also coilovers have more parts to fail or loosen up with collars and such that was not mentioned in this video. So bottom line is whats you goal and application purpose ? You don't buy running shoes to hike in and you wouldn't run track in hiking boots. Jmo idk

Adjustable shocks ( kyb Axe) with LS. Tuning 40/60 rebound for street performance.

What’s funny is that ZZP 3800 lowering springs are about perfect and these guys are hating are lowering springs pretty hard. 😂😂😂

Hello I have a 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 5.3 z71 LT. I removed rear block and installed 2 inch drop shackles. In the front I'm doing a 2 inch drop with spindles. Which will give me a 2/3 DROP. What's the best way to get 1 more inch of drop in the front. THNX

What if I want the adjustability of coil overs but I only want the 2" drop or no drop of the basic springs? Any of the W-body setups I've seen even on the highest setting seem to be a 3+" drop

I want to get some coilovers for my ATS but I've heard is not a smooth ride on a Daily. Is that true? On bumps they say it sounds like a hard hit and not smooth like a regular... I just ordered the ZZP air intake, throttle body, and the ignition coils... next is them coilovers but still not sure since it is my daily and want a smooth ride

Coilovers are designed to give a sportier and firmer feel than stock suspension. They have a lot of adjustment, and when installed correctly ride great. Coilovers won't have the same exact feel as an OEM soft suspension. People who say they are a harsh ride are either set up incorrectly or are using cheap budget coilovers.
