Hey there! Its been a few years since you made this video/I last saw you active. I was wondering if you had any idea as to why the save editor would not read the DAT file once ive opened it? I've tried multiple times but with no luck </3

Sorry I don't! :( So what happens exactly, you select the file to open it and nothing happens or does it give an error message? It might be an issue with the save editor program itself, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling it?

I used to play this game all the time when I was little, even tho I knew how to do most things in the game I didn't know how to take the dog out for a walk and I would always get the bad ending :(

I'm not sure? I would guess not since their last game was from 2014 (and their last dog sim game was "Fashion Puppy 3D" for the 3DS in 2013).

Yes, it's supposed to since the game was originally made in Japan for Japanese audiences.

Yup. They are a working dog so it's easy to train not to scream, but sometimes he will scream. But they do it in happines, not aggression.

Could you explain how to Dock Dive Train a dog? Here where I live we don't have Dock Diving academies or pools, so: how is/was the process?' Thanks a lot!!! We have a male Toller too, he's two years old! And at first he was afraid of water too but now he's taking a liking to it, going to the park ponds with other dogs or all alone to retrieve things. My God I would die of happiness if he ended up doing this. (I grew up with two Golden Retrievers who LOVED to swim... Now I'm a mom and all grown up - 26!)...

We had to drive around 40 minutes to a special dog training place that had a "dock diving pool". For a fee they let you rent the pool for an hour. We would have weekly sessions and began by having the dog be comfortable going up/down the side ramp into the water and swimming in the pool (throwing toys and getting in the pool with him to encourage him). Then we began getting him comfortable walking/running on the dock and seeing other more experienced dogs jump off the dock. With lots of encouragement and toys (and sometimes a little push!) we began trying to get him to jump off the dock on his own. Once he was confidently and reliably jumping on his own then we entered him in competitions! (on the AKC, NADD, and DockDogs websites there's a list of upcoming events and entry forms) I recommend calling around local dog training centers and see if someone knows of a place where you can train. Also joining Facebook groups dedicated to the sport and asking for recommendations there too. I also recommend traveling to a nearby dock diving event to watch and talk with people who can help get you started. Hope this helps and good luck!

Well, as I live in Colombia, I don't think there will be contests or academies or practice pools, but, I don't know, maybe in Bogotá, the capital? We'll see. Or maybe we could build one, with artisanal means ; use a normal pool as a diving one... Tell me what you think! Oh sorry I thought you lived in the USA! Sadly I have no idea if dock diving contests or facilities are available in Colombia. Ask around at local dog shows to find out, even if they don't have anything official you can still teach your dog for fun! And you can certainly teach your dog from a regular pool or if you know a place that has a lake with a dock or ledge you can teach them that way as well!

I agree, don't know why they didn't just have an endless loop of day cycles after the "story" is over. Luckily this was added in the sequel "Dogz" for DS (and in all of the subsequent sequels made).

The game shown in this video was made for GBA. But there was a "Dogz" released for DS (which is a sequel to this game).

Yeah, they're very similar. Almost the same game really, it only updated some of the graphics and added a few new features (most notably agility and obedience competitions). They both have the same breeds and the dogs even use the same sprite models.
