While Trump has some flaws, he at least was willing to take the mental competency test, while Biden has been kept away from it. After a point, they need to step down. Term limits make a good amount of sense, and establish that they can't just have being re-elected as their primary occupation.

Age limits are a waste of time, dementia has been found in people as young as 17 years old. The issue here is the cognitive ability of the person in question, as it is self evident he is not in control. Why is it still claimed by some (WHO?) that Biden is in control of his mental faculties. WHO decides this? Did a physician/psychologist officially go on record to confirm this? And has said person been charged with sabotaging the US government as it is self evident that Biden's mental state is/has declined for some time. How do you impartially rule and implement enforcement of this with so much power at stake? The sad truth is if people with power insist the world is flat, people without power are forced to agree.

Well, I'm 60 and more than coherent; climb up on my roof to clean the gutters, etc., a P&D trucker and gamer since the 70's, but I can see and agree with an upper limit and perhaps lowering the lower limit for Presidents by 5 years. I would still probably put it at 25-65 for anything lower than President, and 30 to 65 or maybe 60 for President. The big problem is with said youngsters getting into Congress, and I think with a little more thought that Raging Boomer Eagle would agree. Look at the youngest members of Congress like "The Squad" and their contemporaries; they are raving lunatics and damn near communist. Can we really afford to allow teens who do have the right to vote to elect their own "just past High School" friends to government? I'm not quite sure that is the greatest idea. At least give them two rounds of Presidential politics to get used to what that means before they jump into the pool, ya know?
