Football clubs in the UK, College sports teams in the US. The level of fandom is very similar. Once you start talking about NFL, NBA, and MLB, the level of dedication really fall off.

Actually it was similarly done in Germany in Hoffenheim by a former Executive of SAP and in Leipzig by Red Bull company/owner.

Men and women sports are not equal. Men will beat women every time. Also mens sports make exponentially more revenue than women. Everyone knows who is gonna go to the super bowl and i cant name you 1 female team of any sport.
@NInVet3 ай бұрын
If the entertainment value of woman sports was equal that of men's sports then I'd agree. Put out quality sports and you will earn equality.
@mahmud41743 ай бұрын
Lets not talk about ideology lets talk business. Cheaper but also the roi is bad, if you invest 10m on mens team u reach a greater audiences make 10x , while for women barely any women watches sports compared to men, the roi isnt even anywhere close to what mens team give.

A cheaper asset and greater voice so you can reach all ten viewers. Do better, be more interesting to watch and you'll be equal to the men

A new way of doing things? Like Lissie Mackintosh and Ariana Bravo breaking online advertiding legislations? Who both F1 have recruited when exactly not labelling a video using the F1 TV Presenter personae as a Pull, is not professionally diligent. Testing does not mean breaking the law.

Oh yes and Red Bull never entered F1 for Marketing purposes. Hence the big bull on the back of the car as then more than now, Sports Sponsorship was a value for money option. RedBull initially based hos whole Marketing Plan on it.

Very interesting discussion. Was great to hear the work being carried out and wish the female sporting divisions all the success they deserve for the work being put in. I’m saying that they need to grow in there own merits and not defunding the male product to boost finance in the female product.

Because financially, they basically are startups. There's no guarantee of popularity or success, the fanbase you aim to focus on is minuscule, and the product quality is not yet at the necessary level. You can't be expected to be given the top shelf stuff without earning it.

what a bad idea A franchise in San Antonio or Toronto would be as successful as a London franchise, and expansion in those cities wouldn't logistically ruin the NFL schedule.

Observations and credit where its due. September 2023 the U.K. currently has only two women in the top 100 Burrage & Boulter and one recognisable phenom Emma Raducanu who, as I write, is sadly recovering from injury, but we have all seen she has the tennis to return to the top 100 and I would wager her becoming Britain's Nr 1 again. The Czech Republic currently have 8 women in the top 100 and yet if one was to question the LTA as to why they are failing to produce similar or even half that amount I bet they would counter with the challenges in doing so, the same challenges that every European country has that has several competing sports for girls to take an interest in. I don't want this to be too long but being born, raised and schooled in the U.K. I was given the impression that the U.K. is a great sporting nation and by tradition it certainly is think Football, Cricket, Tennis BUT there is a reason why the last time the World Cup was won by England in 1966, that it was a half century since a male or female had won a Tennis Grand Slam and part of that comes down to those managing and heads of Governing bodies to not be as good or as talented as they would have themselves believe and others around them would believe. I reach that conclusion having myself discovered how naive and ignorant I was of so very much until I left the U.K. to work and live in Germany. From the outside you really see how badly the U.K. is managed and begins with each and every Government. ExPats call it "Island attitude" and if managers or heads of Governing bodies have "Island attitude" then they will be limited in what they can achieve by it being what governs their decisions. I work in I.T. for a global concern here in Germany but the heads of I.T. are all located in the U.K. and the biggest issues and impact to the business and end users are caused again and again by themselves and we in the E.U. can only look on because you cant tell them and even if you did they wouldn't believe it. I cant count how often its a case of well if it works here in the U.K. or people in the U.K. like it then it will work also in Germany, France etc and people will like it there No No No No No lol it may not and probably will not but thats "Island attitude" for you with a fair dollop of British arrogance. As for credit where credit is due David is a great commentator and the U.K. is really good at coming up with great Journalist and commentators, so much so that even here Germans will often rather listen to a British commentator than a German one in German.

Rob & Ryan totally get it. How refreshing and inspirational is their journey. The genuine love for the club only equaled the love they share for the whole of the Wrexham community itself. Future investors and British politicians, no, all politicians. Look how they've lifted the club and Wrexham as a whole to a place they could never have imagined only 3 yrs ago 😀👏 This is what it's all about, giving people hope, backing and the tools along with hard work, that benefit's everyone, not just a few. Look at the difference it's made😀
