Man just want to tell you congratulations for the incredible work you did with your motor. And atm since I was considering to buy a brand new 350 4T I am actually wondering to go for a new 2T just because of the simplicity of the motor in cases like this. 1330AUD because you did everything, otherwise a job like that much probably would scale for something like 3000AUD. I love 4T but this issues are a big deal to be considered. Thank you for sharing and for the great videos you make.

Your rear setup has helped me for my EC300. Did you use the resistors for installing the rear LED indicators or not ?
@jackkellybuildsКүн бұрын
glad to hear, I didn't have to use a resistor because I replaced the stock flasher relay with a relay specifically for L.E.D's

Apparently it's not an issue on the 450s. Even though they have the plastic gears.

Any idea on where to add or if you have to add a relay on the 24 ec300? The kit I got didn’t come with a relay, but installed the exact same. There is no spot for relays like this one under the seat in the 24.

The factory instructions say to screw the screws in from the front but you did it from the back...
@jackkellybuilds2 ай бұрын
1:32 I put the screws in from the front, I even say that in the video, and you can see that I put them in from the front
@Tacoexplorer2 ай бұрын
@@jackkellybuilds you did it the correct way. If you look at the KTM manual for the fan it says to install the screws from the opposite end that you did. Obviously this is incorrect because the screws won't hold. I just installed the factory fan on my 2024 KTM 250 XCW. Also you don't need to remove the radiator completely. I removed just the top hose and angled the radiator slightly to get to the 2 mounting screws. Lost barely any coolant this way. Thanks for the vid!

I’m using a brake pedal tip from them. It folds upwards and is spring loaded. I’ve had it on for all of last year. When you come down on a rock the tip folds upwards rather than bending or smashing. Works great.

I believe the 690 engine still has plastic gears!
@jackkellybuilds3 ай бұрын
Fortunately the chances are low on a 690 because I wouldn’t imagine anyone getting one of those hot enough to warp the gear, but a steel gear would be a nice redundancy to have

I held the soldering iron on it for 20 minutes but no chance, the screw won't come loose Do you have a gas soldering iron?
@jackkellybuilds4 ай бұрын
Sorry to hear it didn’t work for you, my soldering iron is electrical. There seems to be a large variance in everyone’s soldering irons heat capabilities, as this works for a lot of people, but not for everyone.
