Thanks Devon the few seconds it took for you to show us the location of the banjo bolts really helped. Question on the backside passenger side did you say to remove the wheel cover shroud?? That’s my plan of attack when the bolts come in. Looking at my truck and determining how I was going to do it. 👊🏼

This is old but I have to comment on all the disinformation. The glass bottle he said was for brake fluid is actually the Windshield washer fluid reservoir but did work by vacuum. There was no button under the gas pedal. The linking from the gas pedal to the carburetor started the car, there was a switch out on the carb. that closed and put electric from the battery to the starter motor when you depressed the gas pedal to the floor. After starting vacuum from the running engine kept the switch from closing again. There were two heaters and two blowers in the car, they used hot water from the motor. One was in the dash for defrosting/defogging the windshield the other was under the passenger seat for heating the interior of the car. Of course both could be used to heat the interior. What he pointed out as a heater was actually a sealed tube that ran all the way to just behind the front grille. This tube used a connection tube that has deteriorated over time and is missing. That's the reason we can see the engine compartment from the interior of the car. If used as this guy said every driver would have died from carbon monoxide and other gases. You best close them when in traffic so not to draw exhaust from car in front of you. They could be opened for fresh air while driving on the open road in the summer though. There was one on each side. The rust he says (rusted out) is nothing more than surface rust on steel that the paint has worn off on. Rusted out would be rust "perforation" I saw very little "rust out". The floor plate he pointed to covered access to the master brake cylinder so you could add brake fluid when needed. I'm glad he sold it, from his description of items in this video he don't know this car from his elbow.

That's pretty cool, glad to see he had the hose in the engine coolant thermostat to protect the engine. I noticed you had a hood ornament similar to one I've had hanging on the wall in my garage for years. It looks similar to yours, but it doesn't have the bullet looking piece in the middle, it's just a large ring with two smaller ones inside that. Using that information I looked up Buick Hood Ornaments and found out it's a 1957. Thanks for sharing. Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya

I’m curious what you think of the banks housing. I took mine off and went back to stock I thought it sounds better with stock exhaust housing. What parts on your turbo are 38r? I have the amazon 4” comp housing and couldn’t use my banks waste gate. I watched your video about the methanol install. I ended up installing the stage one kit. Would you like to see it where I installed it?

There are pictures with a very young me in front of a same period Buick Sedanette (?). Evidently it was equipped with a DynaFlow or Hydromatic transmission which always leaked. With my mother carrying what would be my little brother, the decision would be to trade the Buick for a 4-door Hudson Hornet with sun visor. Narragansett Bay.

Fast way to ingest water into the engine too. Using an open air filter is not smart. Too many times I ve had people come in with holes worn into the paper from it just bouncing around. And, you are pulling hot air from the engine bay. Also not good for production of more power

Easier way of going about the wiring is running the wires from the mirrors to the main harness at firewall (near brake pedal, to the right of the ecm). Left turn signal is a green/white wire, right turn signal is a white/blue wire, DRL/parking is a brown wire

Have always had AFE intakes on all my trucks but some reason this one is over $500, The last one for my 2014 6.7 cummins was half the price of it. This is not worth $500 and I feel as if they're just price gouging old surplus overstock.

As a Delawarean, I think I can safely say, that vintage 'Delaware' license plate is worth more than you'll EVER spend on that car! I mean, barely 10 years ago, a Delawarean paid over $100,000 just to have DE license plate "6" for their car or collection, so...

I con only think of one drawback on this mod, and that is in heavy rain and traffic a lot more water will get up into the stock air cleaner and the paper filter could collapse and get sucked into the turbo, or bugs clogging up the air-filter. If it had a down pipe or even and up pipe with a water trap on the bottom, with a small drain hole' this would be great in the summer when the density of the air is less it could provide cooler air free of water, and bugs flying straight into the filter area. Especially in Southern Louisiana when Love Bug season hits this mod would clog the air-filter in a week. Cool idea though, I like it. Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya

I would recommend getting a new air intake but not the way this guy did it. FYI all motors want cold air going into them not hot ass air from your engine that air filter you put in provides.
