Jonathan, I've used up all the ones you gave me when we fished on the Tees together. Gonna tie up a bunch more, its my favorite Dry Dropper fly and it is buoyant enough to float a fairly heavy beaded nymph or Perdigon. Good to see you back in the game. Ed

Wets right hand and then proceeds to handle the trout with the dry left one .NEXT!

But not really upstream wet as you catch all the fish on the point nymph!......so much for you being so obsessed with movement in your flies......many jig nymphs and buzzers ect have no movement and hard unnatural bodies but are lethal fish catchers! Stop overthinking it......

Jonathan, what a pleasant surprise. Great to see you back behind the bench. Still remembering our time on the Tees, and all the nice fish we caught. I'm still using the soft hackle dry fly with great success.

Hello Jonathon, long time no see. I've followed your channel since the very beginning and have really missed your tutorials. I have your DVD, bought some time ago and i still keep looking in on the on-line shop. I still have a number of the furled leaders you used to supply. Not sure whether it was you I spotted at Cronkley Bridge during the summer months? i do hope you'll return front of camera more often? Many thanks for all your work down the years .

Hi Jonathan. Glad to see you making videos again. Learnt a lot a valuable info from you when I was a beginner. Bought half a dozen life jacket caddis off you at the fly tying fair and they are super bouyant. Had a 4.5lb a 4lb & a 3.2lb brown on a small spate River in mid Wales earlier this Spring, so I,m guessing I've come a long way since I started watching your video as a beginner 10 years ago. Thanks you so much for all your efforts to teach us fly fishers. Total respects to you and cheers. Jon.

Hi Jonathon, will you be getting any of the Gekko material back in stock?
@paulatkinson48128 ай бұрын
I have bought some of these flies from you. They are fantastic for fishing the Duo and are virtually unsinkable. I do think a split ring tied in at the back would make them easier to use though. I'm sure there is a good reason that you don't tie them this way, probably to do with competition rules.

As the other comments mention its good to have you back active Jon. I can also vouch for the effectiveness of this pattern from ourday out earlier in the season.
