I know you are reviewing Gary but, I would have a) asked for more chips, and b) sent the steak back and asked for a steak without the glaze. Scotch egg? No, no, no. Xx

I had a similar experience the last time I went to a Harvester a few weeks back. The food quality and cooking was very poor, the meats were way overcooked, the chips, onions rings and breaded prawns were like rocks. I wasn't expecting it to be anything special but at that price it shouldn't have been so bad...

Fish deep fried in batter, scampi deep fried in batter, chipped potato deep fried in batter - washed down with pulverised peas and curry sauce. Never underestimate just how unsophisticated the Brits (still) are when it comes to food !

I think part of your appeal is that you genuinely seem to be a nice and honest chap, providing very easy, interesting and engaging content. You should definitely think about doing something special when you hit your big 100,000. Maybe a video of your top 10 favorite venues/meals and / or a series of videos from usual / overseas location. I could not justify the cost of the " Roast " dinner, portion size was poor and it didn't seem very hot. Toby carvery on the otherhand was impressive, both portion size and variety, and of course price. I need to add I came across your channel recently and I love it, youre a real person who gives honest reviews, someone should employ you to rate every eatery. 👏👏👏

This was above and beyond Gary, especially as you arrived an hour early 🙂 The crusty roll with bacon and scallops looked amazing - funnily enough it was the roll which got me most excited as it looked just like the type I could get years ago in my home town. Now they are either doughy soft rolls or over firm crusty ones.

Ribs looked good, chips looked not so good, do u watch soap operas, if yes what is u favorite

Very disappointing. It shows you awards can be given for various reasons, not only food quality. Some of them you can just buy. Also, being among the 20% of over 65s who do not have a smartphone, I wouldn't even be able to see the menu!

I like your review. It's been a while since I've been to one of those chain pubs, last time was in a wetherspoons in Darlington with my uncle, got a chicken sandwich, and even though my uncle accidentally ordered me the wrong one, it was still rather nice. That one is one of the few decent ones, I generally dont have a high opinion of them and will never go in by myself. The wetherspoons I went in before that was in Edinburgh (again with my family) and I had the saddest full English I've ever seen. Rock hard bacon, sausage like a willy in winter (cold and shriveled) hash brown you could kill someone with but at least the black pud and eggs were good. It's hard to screw up black pudding, but that slice you got there was the thinnest Ive ever seen!

I'm no fan of Padstow. You only get stung once at Steins. The queues in summer ad insult to injury. Discovered Chip Ahoy in town a few years ago, which was excellent as the owner was a Yorkshireman.

Both the meat and the bread looked like shrivelled up newspaper lol

I think the only fast food burger I've had that was better was from In N Out in LA. Shake Shacks aren't that far behind.

My friend went there a couple of weeks ago and the queue was a 2.5 hour wait. Mental. I'll stick to Gilos in Cirencester anytime for an outstanding burger. If you like sausage, go for a mock muffin in the morning, they are awesome.

The hash brown is a great adoption into the full English can't go wrong with it. I can't imagine one without it

Guildford, my humble hometown! I used to go to Meat the Greek pretty frequently for lunch and dinner as it was always great value. Absolutely loved the mixed chicken and pork gyros portion they used to do, with fries, onions and mayo mustard sauce. I haven't been back for a while though as I feel that it's gotten pretty pricey over the last few years.

That looks delicious! My mum loved the old Frey Bentos steak and kidney pie. She would have loved this😊

Money Laundering, drug running, criminal activity and tax fraud clearly is a thing at this restaurant, maybe even people trafficking, Just like all the Barber 💈 and chicken shops that are continually opening and always empty.

I tried the Newcastle one recently. It was one of the worst meals I've ever overpaid for. Chinese food all seemed like it had been sitting too long, and it was dried out. Carvery was a joke!

Hi Gary I forgot to mention I went to Greek restaurant copy of review, I just got two takeaway souvlaki $33:80 they was just folded over not wrapped properly it fell to bits in the park went into the bin. I don’t eat like a pig if you want to eat like a pig get two waste of fucking money never again

For ' something a little bit different' try the award winning Rainbows End Cafe in Glastonbury - home cooked wholefood with a twist and a quirky ambience.

the meat looked dry , and the plates overloaded with pitta bread .sorry gary but i would have being very disappointed with that meal.

Oh Gary that restaurant was not for me and I love Greek food I spend a lot of time in Cyprus and never have I had my meal served so quickly. Not a good start for me. Then all the people passing the table I do not like that either That chicken and pork kebab looked very dry and square. Lol. Never seen a square kebab only a frozen,one The salad looked the go.
