back in the day i also binge watched this season and i honestly think it's the best way to consume it because the amount of insane cliffhangers in it would've killed me if i'd have had to wait for each episode weekly, i'm sure of that. i also do a whole binge whenever i rewatch as well, it's really just the type of non-stop action & non-stop reveal season where stopping is not really an option, it's so damn enjoyable even on a rewatch. considering how between s1 and s2 there were 4 freaking years a lot of people thought back in those days that the studio made a misstep in waiting for so long and kinda letting the hype die down, but as soon as the season dropped it was just so strong and solid that even the 4 year gap couldn't touch it. it's honestly one of my fav second seasons to a show and i thoroughly enjoyed your reaction to it!

I think the misconception that the shadow clone jutsu is banned is very common. The shadow clone jutsu isn’t banned. It’s the multi-shadow clone jutsu. The only reason it’s banned it’s because it uses so much chakra that it’s dangerous for the user. Kakashi himself can only really handle like 4 clones at once realistically. But Naruto has so much chakra that he can use it without being even slightly taxed. The more he trains the more clones he can put out. To the point where only Naruto has been known to put out more than 10 shadow clones at a time even hundreds at times.

The subtitles don't do Hannes' death justice. Eren says "you're still as useless as you ever were", which initially makes you think he's referring to Hannes, when he's actually talking about himself.
