IKR. Well, almost everybody. Probabaly everyone but Kimimaro. Jirobo is slow and gets wrecked by the insects sucking up his chakra. For Tayuya his insects could clog her flute so she couldn't play it and his insects are probably resistant or immune to genjutsu as a certain filler suggested. For Sakon, just imagine Sakon trying to invade his body and then the insects in Shino's body just act like scalpels and destroy only Sakon's cells and organs while leaving Shino's alone. Game over for Sakon, his trump card is useless. Kimimaro would potentially be a tough fight compared to the others for him since he leaps around and attacks from a distance, but I am assuming his insects can eat through his troublesome threads considering they are made of chakra mostly and his insects eat chakra. His insects can gradually surround Kimimaro and then swarm him and it's GG lol. Shino's insects are just way too versatile as a weapon and can deal with almost any opponent that doesn't have some way to take him down quickly or avoid the insects entirely. Kimimaro would beat him though I think just cause Kimimaro's agility and strength are just off the charts compared to Shino.

One little thing that I always like to remark is how quick Kiba decided to stab himself to get rid of his enemy. In any other show or with any other character we would have gotten a full on episode of him exploring his options before resorting to that, but here he doesn’t even give the audience time to think about it and just does it. He got that dawg in him

The cool thing about Kiba here is how animalistically he's written. Wolves and other wild animals would easily sacrifice a limb for the sake of survival. So Kiba being a Beast Tamer shinobi is willing to sacrifice his life to take out a strong enemy. Small little detail but it adds to the subtle characterization

Not sure if this came across, but I think Gaara was also talking about Lee when he said that following a person to a fault may be your downfall, even though it might feel good and right to you. The fight with Kimimaru gave him the insight to understand why Guy acted the way he did and why Lee lost their fight during the chunin exams, despite giving it his all. Lee had the same kind of unhealthy dependance on Guy's approval that Kimimaru had on Orochimaru. Of course, Lee and Guy have a healthier relationship overall, but that aspect of wanting to do anything to impress his teacher is exactly what lead to Lee loosing to Gaara. Gaara couldn't understand at the time but now he understands.

I think it's that his arms work a little bit with a new body but as we saw in the shower they deteriorate quickly. Even in the Tsunade fight he could move them but he had to put a lot of effort into it.

He could still move them pre body swap, but it clearly hurt and couldn’t weave signs. After the switch it seems he got use of his arms back at a basic level

he still cant use jutsu on the level he could... until much later he arms are working because the new bodies arms arent rotten. the chakra/soul part is still missing thus no hand signs

They don’t work completely. Way later, his hands needed to be restored in order to cast that one Jutsu. So it only kind of works.

Temari is way more OP than I think most give her credit for, I would put her as a much bigger threat than someone like Kankuro. She can just summon massive wind blasts that cut her opponents to pieces like razor blades. The scale and power of the wind attack exceeds what even most Jonin would probably be capable of producing especially with this summoning technique she showed here that enhanced her attack and leveled the whole forest. Shikamaru said it well, she easily defends and attacks at the same time. For most people to beat her they either need insane speed, some way to directly counter her wind jutsu, or an even more destructive jutsu than hers to hit her with before she can hit them. Not saying she is top tier obviously but for a GENIN she is insanely strong and is already well into Jonin level I'd say. Sand is OP.

Just in case you dont know.. the drunken fist is actually a bruce lee thing.. he had a whole movie based on the drunken fist.. the idea was once a master fighter got drunk that his movements became super unorthadox, and his movements couldn’t be predicted. My moms ex fiancé loved those movies so i loved this little connection..

There's many high moments in the Naruto / NShippuden series, many more to get you to the edge of your seat and sometimes, be completely be taken aback by what's happening. I love the Naruto series for that specific reason: The battles are well thought out and you actually feel something at stake. This fight, alongside Rock Lee and Gaara joining in, is one of the finest moments, mostly for the "What? They're allies now?" surprise.. But there's a few more that I'm eager to see you witness and react to. Once again, thanks for the reaction. Your commentaries really adds to the whole experience and I've got many good laughs!
