Also - you are not taking care to avoid getting Wood dust into the Fuel Tank. *That is a Fuel only passage Tank to Throttle Body to motor so it can only get trashed from a failed Filter in a dirty tank. Excellent diagnosis and repair! I keep a rag handy to wipe around the fuel and oil cap areas before opening them to minimize contamination.
