Good review, I just received the 15L Bullet in the Dyneema. I have got to say that your microphone totally exaggerates the noise from the bag. This Dyneema is not anything as near noisy as what your microphone is picking up. For me, this is by far the best Bullet to date. The bag is just slightly crinkly and noisy, not bothersome at all. My only wish was that they had put in some MOLLE on the inside back panel, but my Grey Man Tactical RMP resolves that issue.

Is really no frame a flaw for a 14L bag ?

I found the older 22L version might get that as it's more my size ... 34L is good but overkill

Great review as always! Do you feel like the Dyneema version of this bag is worth the price difference vs the regular ballistic nylon?

Thank you for your thorough review. I have the keb 30. I just finished an 83 mile hike and it is a super great bag. However, I am looking for the 20 ltr version for a lighter day hike. Thanks so much for your review. I now know what exactly i will be getting.

Pennsylvania doesnt have a size limit so my usual rotation is my old PM2 in s30v, K390 Stretch 2, Endura in VG10, Delica in vg10 or k390, Sheepsfoot mini Griptilian, S110 Para 3, Small Sebenza 31 with the s35vn, or a DLC Kershaw Leek with 14c28n. I got others i sprinkle in and many on my wishlist but those are the staple rotation. Right now is the blurple Para 3, I had the K390 wharncliffe delica in my pocket for about 2 weeks before then. The delica is and has been my all time favorite knife for a long time. The stretch 2 comes very close but hasnt overtaken any of my delicas. I also have a super blue sprint run that occasionally gets taken out but not often. Like you said it just gets so many things right for a general modern edc blade. Ive got a native 5 salt and a hogue deka on my short list to give magnacut a try. The Deka looks pretty promising, I really wanted to like the bugout and visually it is one of the nicest looking blades I own but idk i just dont care for using it.

Very nice video ! I'm looping for Thatcher kind of bag for my everyday but, I have to deal with a gaming laptop from gigabyte as working laptop and my iPad pro 12.9 with his magic keyboard. So there is some room for bulkier laptop and tablet ?

It’s awkward to complain about such a crazy dope bag but I wish that front admin compartment had more organization built in. Same layout in the CPL24. So there’s a few items that end up at the bottom of the bag in my CAP2 and field pouch that I would rather keep in that admin compartment up front. Super wack complaint but that’s what hinders me about the damn bag.

Great call on these Moire pouches! I’ve got a number of expensive tech pouches - Evergoods, Peak Design, Alpaka , etc. and these Maxpedition organizers really compare well and hold a good bit for their size. Got one and then purchased 2 more.

Nice review! Please tell me where did you get the AR pouch from!!!! I love my Dyneema GR1. I’m a proud fanboy as well, why not. Bought an OG GR1 back in 2009 and $400 was ludicrous for a “backpack” back then….after multiple deployments and world travel, I still own it and it’s buttery soft now but just as strong. I bought my girls GR1s in high school and they used them through college and still going. It brings great joy when they show up to the house with it. The packs are def worth it ten fold.

So what’s an alternative that you’d recommend for everyday use? Was thinking of getting this for college, but doesn’t seem to be the most useful, even though it looks so sleek and classy

Totally agree! It’s ok bag and for that price you can buy goruck gr2 or RE A31. Both are way better value. Or the alpaka shift.

I have the same sort of experience when I've used clamshell bags that put the zipper in the middle of the sidewall instead of the upper lip. I like a "bucket" to put things into but things like some of the black ember bags and the top section of a GR2, that zipper is in the middle and not where I'd prefer it to be.

I'm bummed out that I'm only seeing this video a year after it was made. I would have loved to stand a chance with the free give-away. By the way, if there's still a chance, PLEASE hook a brother up George (even if he lives in South Africa) 😉

Best review ever. This is actually a perfect review. Detailed, dynamic. I've just compared that bag with other backpacks and as for me the insulated /thermal pocket makes a difference, since I wanna use it to take it to work along with my lunch or a sandwich. Pretty well designed. I have even compared it with a Swiss gear backpack and I can tell that Nike has done a great job!
