Cheap grills don’t last and need constant rebuilding. Even the cheaper Weber models.

I have that nexgrill, bought it almost 2 years ago, 2 winters and 2nd summer started and the drip tray is completely rotted, the burners are rusted and holes have to be rust scraped often and the grills are pretty shot also, not to mention the heat plates are junk, and I bbq homemade burgers every week all year.. I'll definitely be looking for weber or similar that will work for 10yrs without rotting out. JMO 👍

I literally don't grasp why some of these youtubers think they need to compar these 2 blenders that are radically different. Why would you do a comparison between a Volkswagon and a Cadilac? Makes no sense. Comparing these two machines was very personal for me because I happen to own both of these machines and use them constantly in my huge 2 car garage size kitchen. I have over 10 years of experience with them. They both have their place but this comparison was absolutely silly. It was the equivalent of comparing at Volkswagen to a Tesla. They are not the same and they were never designed to do the same things. The Ninja has a huge, tall spinning hub with lots of blades on it. All contribute to the weight and mass and thus bog down the motor that itself was never designed to spin all that fast. IF you tried to spin that plastic tower are the speed of the Vitamix you would see it literally fly apart from the centrifugal forces. The Ninja should have never been called a blender in the first place. It is more of a chopper or processor due to its very slow RPM. Nothing I have seen is even close to how slow the Ninja is. Even the very cheap blenders have far more RPMs. It’s more of a chopper and it does well for the few things to does. I use it filled with water and cabbage and carrots to make amazing cole slaw that is very fine. Just dump the finished slaw/water into a sieve and let it drain for a couple moments and you have perfect fine slaw that you could never get any other way. It’s fantastic for that. You can do other things but few are very well done because of the very low speed. My Vitamix spins at over 4 times the speed of the Ninja and can do fast work on nearly anything. That speed and power will always come with a price of friction heat. It’s the laws of physics. You will never escape that. The Ninja might be better for an ice drink but if you have to blend something long enough for the Vitamix to heat it up then get used to the heat. Using these machines to make peanut butter is just ludicrous. Here we have the problem that the industry itself has created. OUR MACHINE CAN DO ANYTHING FOR YOU. WE HAVE A SETTING FOR WHATEVER IT IS. Nonsense. You just can’t get every single job done with one machine. They make dedicated machines to make peanut butter. If you think any of these blenders can do every job then you are living in fantasy land. Project Farm channel has a very excellent multi level technical comparison between these machines and 8 others. A true scientific comparison that is worth watching. It’s the best testing on KZfaq. The Ninja will never give you a totally smooth soup or anything else because it’s just not possible with those clunky blades spinning at a quarter the speed. If you want it smooth then accept that the Vitamix will generate some heat. You can’t have it all. The Vitamix. is always the superior choice for fantastic smooth hot soups. If you can’t stand there monitoring its progress then don’t complain that it made the food warm or even hot. You can’t have everything. These machines don’t think. Thats YOUR job. NO ONE MACHINE will EVER do every job you ask of it. This is why I have two machines that do different jobs perfectly. IF you just have to make peanut butter at home then go buy a machine made to do that specific job. Jiff and Skippy still do a pretty good job right out of the jar. By the way I totally agree that they need to figure out a better system for the switches so people won't paint their ceiling with soup when they hit the wrong switch. Other than that, the Vitamix is a work horse that is worth the hefty price.

Right out of the box, our Dyson Gen5Absolute had a rattle in the carpet cleaning head. Customer service conceded that the part is out of stock with no date for when it will be available (this is a HUGE problem with Dyson), so the unit had to be replaced. Dyson offered to ship us an exchange as soon as UPS received the defective unit. We recorded this conversation. Nevertheless, the next day, after we delivered the defective unit to UPS, customer service informed us that this was untrue. Dyson would not do an immediate exchange, but would ship a new unit only after it received and processed the unit, which would take up to 3 weeks (while Dyson sat on our money and the warranty triggered by our initial purchase continued to run.) In short, Dyson lied. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was assured that supervisor would call me back. No call. Dyson lied again. Even before we bought the unit, we got a bad taste of Dyson’s honesty. Customer service assured us that Dyson would price-match QVC’s sale price. This, too, proved to be untrue. Yet another lie. The vacuum may be great, but beware of Dyson. False assurances and unavailable replacement parts are a REAL problem.

I snagged a Sony A6500 with a Zeiss lens, and an Olympus that I ended up flipping. I grabbed what was shared in my discord but didn't realize t the time that everything was up for grabs. I would've gone nuts if so! Amazon shipped all items to me, no cancellations. Still using my Sony in 2024.

I've had the moabs and 2 pairs of renegades. Would recommend both but the lowas will last longer. Just built tougher. Also for both- Get the non waterproof lined versions. So the MOAB vent or the Lowa Renegade LL version. Goretex is naff and i don't understand why it's marketed towards serious hikers. Great for leisurely strolls, crap for if your feet sweat. Pair the Merrells with a set of sealskinz Socks for rain. If you want to waterproof the lowas then use some beeswax. Just anything except a goretex\ waterproof liner. My journey through hiking footwear has gone Merrell MOAB, Lowa Renegade x2, Altberg boots and now for myself I've realised that I prefer trail runners. I don't really believe boots support ankles- Rather it's better to strengthen ankles with exercise and careful walking technique. Unless you're in the military i don't see much point in boots aside from stratch\ brush protection. Lightweight, fast drying trail runners and then use various socks for different weather. Thin merino for summer, thick for winter paired with waterproof socks. Much more versatile. Thanks for reading!

I’ve had a pair of the Lowas for 9 years. They are great for hiking, wearing in snow, or anywhere else you need grip, waterproofness, or support. Yes, you should wear them with hiking socks. I feel like you were dinging them because you didn’t buy the right size or use the right socks. After 9 years they are in great shape and still totally waterproof. I have owned Merrills, and they are comfortable but not supportive and don’t hold up over time.

I just completed assembling the Nexgrill 4-Burner grill and found it very EASY and fun. I will agree that the assembly instructions offer very few words but pretty much ONLY pictures that were very usable for me as I am mechanically inclined. I agree that it is cheaply made with sheet stainless steel but I guess it will do for now... I haven't yet grilled on it as I just finished assembling it...
