Re Exodus 6 v3, in the King James translation (a lot of people still use) it reads “And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Issac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by the name JEHOVAH was I not known to them”. Check it out KJV Ex 6:3

MATTHEW 13:11 Jesus even said very clearly that those who worship him instead of worshiping his Father become his enemy. (MATTHEW 16:23) When Jesus was missing at a young age Joseph and Mary went looking for him, and found him by the temple. Translation of any language is not about finding an exact copy in modern English or any other language. Let me explain in simple terms. For example, do you know what the word "computer" in English translates to in Chinese? Or the word "ship"? Do you think Chinese translators look in their dictionary for a word for "computer" or "ship"? It doesn’t work like that; those words don’t exist in the same form. They have to look at the original word, try to understand its meanings, context, power, and many other factors, then find a word or combination of words in their own language that conveys a similar meaning. They don’t seek a word similar to the original because it doesn’t exist. The English word "computer" when translated into Chinese basically means “electric brain.” Any Chinese person who reads these characters knows it is the translation for "computer" in English, even though they know their own words say "electric brain." This is why translation is very hard and why learning a new language is challenging. For example, the letter "F" in some cultures can sound like "J." Chinese people don’t argue or try to discourage the use of the word "computer"; they know it’s just a translation to their own language. Only an idiot would say otherwise, and that’s exactly what you are trying to say. The original Tetragrammaton sound was lost, so translators over centuries have come up with new ways to say it in their current time period, e.g., YHWH, Yehowah, Adonai, etc. As long as the word is accepted in that time period and identifies its meaning, i.e., Almighty God the Creator, then it’s okay, as it’s just a translation. "Lord," however, is a word not identified or accepted as Almighty God; it is identified as His son. Following this practice modern english Translators used 'Lord' whenever the tetragrammaton appears or is quoted in the New Testament. Jesus likely did not follow this practice when he read from the portion of what is now Isaiah 61:1 when he commenced his earthly Ministry shortly after being baptized. Jesus roundly criticized the faithless Jewish religious leaders of his day for rendering God's word invalid by putting Tradition ahead of what the scriptures says. He said unless they repented of their course they were headed for Gehenna or destruction with no hope of a resurrection.

If you look at all the doctrines since 1919 published by the watchtower corporation it becomes clear that the various writers had their own views of Bible interpretations. God does not change his mind and confuse people. However , humans do change their minds and it’s clear from all their publications this is the case. When I compare the Bible with past publications such as the Finished Mystery published by the Watchtower Corporation in 1917 and all of Mr Rutherford books from 1919 onwards it becomes clear these are writings of men. No way would Jesus lead people to misrepresent his Father in the way these books had. There are many nice people in lots of Christendom who the watchtower society are part of. What makes some of the Watchtower corporation books unique for me is some of their quackery interpretations of the Bible who they think Jesus would be approving. 1914, 1919 etc etc. The Bible no where says such things. It’s all invented. I agree the kingdom is good news and it will be great when it finally arrives. However, I don’t believe a multi billion dollar publishing house is the true Chanel of delivering spiritual food at the right time when so many of their books have done the opposite. My mum passed two years ago. The church we used to attend never sent us anything or contacted us. They only did so when they wanted money from us, they never even pretended to care. The JWs came after mum turned to bones and I, wanting to talk to someone about my grief, foolishly let them in. I never went to their hall. Eventually it got to the point where I had my siblings lie to them that I left town and they magically stopped coming over. Moral of the story: get children to lie to JWs and avoid detection until they no longer show up.

After my Mom died in 2004 after a long battle with cancer, I started getting all kinds of weird religious mail from local JWs regarding death. Yeah, the obit in the newspapers included the physical address of where she lived, which is quite dangerous. If you ask me. Zero privacy.
