So, you climbed that 24m crane with just ladders. Is it just ladders for ALL the cranes, even the massive ones? If so, I'd not need to train my body not to sh1t up the crane... I'd sh1t myself on the climb!

How much swaying does a crane experience? Like if you stand on the top and move side to side, do you feel any of that? Or during high wind? I feel like that would be the only thing I couldn't deal with: Swaying side to side like 2 meters in the Wind, 60m off the ground.... 😀 PS: I was extremely surprised to hear you say you don't have a harness on the climb! I went to school in the UK and remember health and safety being RIDICULOUSLY overdone, compared to Germany back then... So to hear you're allowed to climb that without a harness is basically unbelievable to me, after my prior experience with UK health and safety!

Hi Andy, I’m on my second week training and have my exams in a couple of days, found your videos really helpful, I’m training about 20 meters up, that’s scary enough, but starting to get used to it, how long did it take you to get used to the heights? Thanks 👍

I'm 35 and I've only recently thought of this as a career and I would love to do this. Only problem is I don't have any experience in this field or building sites. Where do I began..... Many thanks.

Guess you'll be part of both obsessions lol Sht, yeah now I remember you mentioning you were a tower driver in of of your Mandrill Mayhem construction videos. Just a pity you don't upload much, would love to see a POV with you on controls if you ever feel like it :P

Huge Respect to Andy!!! What a lovely smile you have!!! Dealing with one of the most dangerous job do happily!!! Was wondering whether you don’t need to wear any safety belt or harness while climbing up on the crane.

Thanks for posting, I not a crane operator. But find them intriguing.i see the electric cable running down one side of the tower. Would love to know how that all connects. And when the crane is unattended in high winds. How the cable doesn’t twist and snap? So basically the electrical side to running the crane, keep the videos coming 👍

Aside from the hard work of climbing, the height wouldn’t bother me too much. Walking out on that catwalk arm would be an entirely different matter.
