Just moved back to the UK haven't worked on central heating boilers until a few months ago so these are really helpful thanks man! Keep up the great work

Are you a plumber or a heating engineer ? If you’re a plumber then you shouldn’t be touching electrics unless you are suitably trained to the required NVQ standards. I’ve seen plumbers f””k electrics up and cost the home owner thousands.

When he dropped his tool in the can with the blue water... I really felt that LOL. I would not have been able to keep my calm like he did when that happened haha.

I always use a wet and dry vac to get the excess water out of the cistern it makes for a lot cleaner jobs, good for getting the last bit of water out of the pan if you have to take that out as well, i hate those 1/2 inch connectors they a terrible to connect onto valve with a plastic thread , i always use brass thread if possible, the fibre washers always seem to fit loosey , i've found some with a rubber rather than a fibre washer and never have any problems

Watching the video I was thinking, I wouldn't it like that, I would do this etc, but 'i can not help but respect the professionalism, not your fault I know but the TRV is useless inside the RAD cover, and it might not make much difference but I was always taught, never cut 10mm with pipe cutters, you reduce the bore to 8mm or less with multiple cuts, but huge respect mate and well done for sorting. No Hate.
@bluebulldog_uk2 күн бұрын
Always show it as it is, not my proudest plumbing job having to hang it so many times 😂 yeah the TRV not much help inside cover will agree and a few people have said about the cutter…honestly never gave it a second thought but do like getting feedback on videos about stuff so always helpful, thanks for the comment mate 🙌👍

Great detailed job mate. Regarding balancing the system; 1 turn, 2 turns, etc.... But can you explain, maybe in a future video if there's a technical way, (flow/return temperatures I believe), on how to balance the system?
@bluebulldog_uk2 күн бұрын
I can look into explaining it if a job comes up mate 🙌👍

Nothing wrong with what you've done in the slightest, but In my view this customer did everything in the wrong order. If you're making a custom radiator cover, you don't make a cover first, then try to get a radiator to fit it ! You fit the radiator, then make the cover to fit the radiator. Talk about making your job harder than it needed to be because their approach was illogical.
@bluebulldog_uk2 күн бұрын
Yeah I think it was just a mistake by customer but one of them least they got result in end, even though it took me 3 attempts to hang it 😂😂👍
