WHO else is here because of John Rich's Revelation song? Late to the party but had no idea there was so much (good) message behind Big and Rich. Feeling enlightened - in many ways today.

Check out John Rich's interview with Tucker Carlson a week or two ago. He's my kind of believer! God is GOD. Man cannot reinvent him to his own liking. There is a reason people say someone is a "God fearing man." Love the Lord absolutely and with all your heart, but you'd better have a healthy fear of his awesome wrath as well. People mistreat or dismiss people they love all the time. With God, that's not a good idea. Jesus said as much - there is no place for a person who is Christian when it suits them. There is no place for someone who twists God's words to fit what he or she wants. God's word is at odds with A LOT of what is not only legal but socially acceptable in American society. We may not face the kind of persecution that Christians in other countries face, but that puts a new set of challenges on us. It's very comfortable to be a mainstream Christian, but so many people stumble when the smallest inconvenience is placed in their way. "Oh, I'm against killing babies, but I'd better not say anything." If all it takes is the threat of losing some friends, or the threat of having to find another job to shut you up about God, you might want to reflect on that.

Revelation is awesome. All most Americans pray. 🙏 thanks for standing firm not selling out ❤ I wouldn’t have survived life without my faith. Simple people. Who I still try to surround myself with. Stay humble and speak the truth.

I just learned of this guy Rich from listening to an interview from today with Tucker . I had no idea knew that he sang the song Save a horse and save a cowboy and I think I heard he owns a bar?? Those things are fruits. I see this is 8 yrs ago. I pray he has made the change.

I don't know - from accounts of just how rough everything really got. It seemed to me like things ran their course, but fame and the demands of being in a hugely successful band kept them near one another far longer than they should have been. Pity, as i dont like people being unhappy

Mark needs to make some fresh sound, if he wants to keep making music. If only he got the original lineup of Dire Straits, just once, that could change. Better late than never. But I guess personal offline differences within a band can be so strong, no fan can gauge the gravity.

I never did really like Dicky Batt's personality... there, said it.. RIP Gregg.... most people, in 120 years will fade away... you'll live on!
