I bought the kit but not the battery. I can't seem to get any response after hooking everything up. Seems like nothing is working. I am using the original battery could that be the issue? Did you have any issues getting it to work once connecting all the wires. I feel like running my head into a wall Im so frustrated with myself. Any help would be beyond appreciated.

The kit is made for a 48v battery, you will need to upgrade from the original 36v.

you will need a mounting plate to raise the motor clear of the brake caliper. And of course you would have less battery space, So maybe less Amp hours.
@ankuruppal921411 ай бұрын
I ran into a weird issue where the motor runs reverse for forward and forward for reverse and the speed is no way close to 20 miles. Also the amount of time i had to spend figuring the chain size the socket holes i think its too much i would have just bought the overvolt kit from ebay and be done with it
@WoahNelle4 ай бұрын
Did you reverse the motors polarity itself? You have to do that with these as they’re programmed to be installed in a certain direction. Switch the halls and phase wires around and it’ll go forward full power.

Hey brother I put a 36V battery on my daughters MX350 and that original engine took the overwattage just fine and that thing flies man. Recommend upgrading to another brake up front to stop it because its so fast. Question is how long will the motor last, mines still going stong after 8 months of 4 times a week riding and a replacement motor is only 40 dollars, so definitely a big win for the kids man.
