If you have to season the pan you might as well go with a Carbon Steel pan

Got halfway into your video and had to stop. There's no "design flaw" in this lid. The springs inside are stainless steel and the rest is plastic with ample holes for air drying. First off, immediately when you're done with the mixing cycle, take the lid off, remove the blade, and run both under hot/luke warm water. If you wait until the ice cream/base/whatever you're mixing has a chance to dry, you're screwed as seen in your video at 2:25. Flush it out immediately and vigorously shake the lid to dry it. You should also remove the rubber gasket in the lid from time to time and wash gray colored gasket with soap and use your fingers to scrub it clean. If you allow the gasket to dry against the plastic and never remove it, I guarantee you there's going to be black mold underneath it within weeks. This is why air drying is crucial in professional kitchens. You don't use a rag to dry items, etc. as this can transfer germs from surface to surface. If I were you, I'd be more concerned about how to clean the mixing shaft that dives down into the base.

Thank you. I may give some of them a try. I'm literally watching this video while eating spaghetti and meat sauce that I just made in my 2Qt Instant Pot. :) I do have a question: I noticed the rise you poured in was dry. Does that mean you do not wash your rice before hand or does it come pre-washed?

I'm a retired chef, former chef lecturer. I know how to cook, how to handle a pan. I bought them, I regret my purchase. People buy none stick, particularly for eggs, omelettes.... simple eggs dishes. Yes, they stick. Whoosh, main reason I bought them out of the door. I know full well the temperature limitations on all none stick pans. I keep an infra red gun type thermometer on bench side of my stove when I use them, have done from day one. Too be honest, much to my dismay. One pan in the early days I used the most (because of size and shape) failed very badly despite seasoning. It took months (Months) to get a replacement. Now, my cast iron pan, is one million percent none stick on every dish. Yes, heavy pan I know. Low temp egg dishes, high temp steak dear, low temp egg dishes.... none stick, at a fraction of the price. A fraction. It's doesn't even need a life time warranty because for sure, I'll be dead before my cast iron pan is. So, what am I saying? It's simple buy a cheap none stick pan from the super market. The virtually all have same max temp as Hexckad. Cost next to nothing. Look after them, temp wise..... chances are will still last for years. As a home cook (can't say pro chef any more, I'm retired) I just can not justify the poor none stick qualities and the high price. The numbers just don't stack up. Each to their own. Buy whatever you wish, just offering my own humble thoughts. Regards.

My husband loves hard boiled eggs when he is on the go on the farm or getting parts or grocery shopping. Now he has them and doesn't have to buy them. I just made 14 with those little stack racks. I taste tested the one that cracked. Tender and delicious even without salt. Hubby also wears dentures and even with being implant/snap in he still can get sore spots. So, the insta pot beef short ribs at 45 minutes should be tender enough, too for tonight.

A tip to make farm fresh eggs peel easily no matter what method you cook them with: GENTLY TAP the BIG end of the egg with the back of a teaspoon, hear the LITTLE “ CLICK”. ? This breaks the membrane inside the egg but not the shell so the shell and membrane peel away very easily after the ice bath.
