soap and water, if water based ink, and if plastisol you need plastisol ink remover, you can use the screen hundereds of times.

Probably a dumb question but the kerf would change based on material correct? For example cutting acrylic vs Baltic birch which have different settings would result in different kerf correct? Really enjoyed the video just trying to ask the questions that the video brought up as I had never considered these issues haha. Appreciate the video tons!

Mine gets clogged once a week. The instructions says you can wash the top filter. I swap it out with the other included filter and wash it with a hose and dry it outside. The filters are too expensive to be changing them out frequently.
@xSensuКүн бұрын
Yeah that's the same experience that I have with mine they are way too expensive so I actually stopped using mine for now unless I really have to I go ahead and just put in the sliding window unit thing where the air just goes straight outside since I'm close enough to run a line to the window when I use it. But for anybody looking for a filter system it is an awesome filter system it really does filter everything out

Thank you for the information. I have a D1 pro 10w but just ordered the Ultra to go with my CNC. I have not turned on my D1 in over a year. With the ultra I can see that being mobile even though not as mobile as the F1. Keep up the good work.
@LaserEngraving9114 күн бұрын
Thanks for commenting, yeah I agree the Ultra is still a mobile unit for sure, and can be used as such, it s bit heavier, but it can do so much more than the OG F1..

*Lots of good tips in this video, thanks!* _I wish I saw it a couple of years ago!_ 🤪 For off-grid engraving, I have a 2000W battery backup (UPS) with a pure sine wave inverter built in. I run a 55W Co2, chiller, laptop, fume extractor and use the USB plugs for LED lights, and I get 22+ hours of clean power with 3 110V outlets. I've never used it for more than 8 hours, but the time remaining on the screen estimated 14 hours left when I was done for the day. I ran it once without charging it for 2 full days on one camping event. I towed a small trailer behind my motorhome and used to do on-site camping signs on live edge wood at few local campgrounds, with the owner's permission.

Great video My question is I am looking to start a Laser cleaning business and looking at the LCM 500 watt would it be safe to buy from this company SFX and would I have any problems with any warranty if needed Thanks
@LaserEngraving9114 күн бұрын
Yes, absolutely, Ive been working with SFX for a few years now and I can say they have excellent customer service, they are very responsive, and in addition to that I personally offer some after sales support with any SFX laser cleaner, so you can always reach out to me with some help with settings, and tips, the LCM 500 is a fantastic unit, and in my opinion as a great unit to start your business with, you will be able to laser clean so many more things than most people can do because you are getting a pulsed cleaner and not a CW cleaner 👍, if you have any more questions about it you can contact me direct [email protected] happy to help, and if you ready to purchase you make sure you use my code for the $200.00 off "LASER911200"

Its possible! yes, but you are going to have to really dial in your settings because each manufacture has a different thickness of paint on the cups, so you will have lots of settings for different types of cups. and colors.

Do you just use the provided typical 120v wall outlets or do you request a standalone outlet like what the recommended outlet setup is in the shop?
@LaserEngraving9115 күн бұрын
Good questions, I usually just require a dedicated 12v outlet, that is not being shared by other vendors if I can, but I've done events were it has been shared and its been ok. But I wont do generator power, but if I had to I would only use a generator that I know is rated for my equipment, and I would supply the generator not them.
