Cool! Get a green chicom I have on the video. Cost the same as a repro on eBay. Repros loops tend to unlock them selves and fabric is too soft.

@@RealFakeGuns yeah true that, honestly id like to be able to get some camo pouches to match this vest, I do have a type 95 rig but no way I would ever or could ever bring myself to cutting it up lol. I'm thinking about buying a ranger vest, there is a company that sells them in several different camo patterns, m81, flecktarn, acu, desert tri color etc. I actually would really like to make a tac vest out of one of those better, it would be absolutely perfect.

It is built out of loose bits, not a whole gun stripped for the purpose. Real guns replace parts and those parts get scrapped or hit the market. So I put them to good use. I see it as preserving history as these are brought back from actual Vietnam.

Thanks. But that sounds like post war advice. From what I can tell they hold and shoot it like I do during the Vietnam war.

I got the chance to talk to a USMC nam vet who carried the M79 this weekend (photos on my insta). Asked him about this and he had never heard about it, he held it like I do. So I think this is a post war thing and should not be done much like the modern low ready stance etc.

​@RealFakeGuns The modern low ready stance is their for a reason. Reason is simple keeping you from shooting your buddies while at the same time keeping you ready to engage and destroy the enemy's of the United States in close combat.

@@joshuathomas8529 You are talking about two different topics. Safety and how to hold the rifle. Low ready has no place in Vietnam reenactment.

@RealFakeGuns low ready has everything to do with the wars I fought in Iraq and Afghanistan. I don't know when it was invented, I would imagine troops in Vietnam used it just did not give it a name. When I went threw basic training in 2005 it was instructed to us how to cary a rife when on patrol.

Thanks. The hat is a vintage American made, I would guess 60-70s. Found it in a vintage fashion shop for cheap, they buy a lot of bulk rag mill clothes from the US.

Den svenska motsvarigheten kan nog heta så. Telefonen är svensk (söker efter en amerikansk). Det är en grekisk radio men likadan som den amerikanska PRC25 som användes i Vietnam. Tyvärr inte fungerande men har grejer så jag kan använda en liten modern radio i den med tillhörande telefon.

@@SonsOfLorgar Ja Mik som arrar NAM69 brukar ha 3 fungerande riktiga med i spel. Dom är betydligt tyngre 😂 Jag är oftast KSP skytt med 11kg M60 och är glad att slippa bära radion då hehe.

Nice! Visste inte att det gick att få jaktlicens på halvautomatbössor med lösa magasin eftersom det gör det så lätt att runda ev. kapacitetsbegränsning. Har själv haft sportlicens på en tävlingspistol i .22LR men sålde den ca 2015 så jag tappat ekonomiska förutsättningar för att underhålla färdigheterna på hobbynivå.

@@SonsOfLorgarFördelen med jakt är ju att man slipper förnya licenser. Inte hunnit med en jakt än, fick bössan i början av året och lägger fokus på att bli bra på att skjuta så man kan fälla ett djur med gott samvete sen.

Metal looped in front are considered the rarer ones (like this one). Sewn directly in front is more common. I have a complete video on all variants I’m working on that we recorded with Vietnamese experts in Cu Chi a month ago.

@@RealFakeGuns Yes I ment your coating for the M79 which looks really good. I know they had differen shades when it came to the original finish, close enough is good for me... most spraypaint just wont cut it.

@@MrMrbananaFor the barrel graphite black and burnt bronze mix. Receiver bits sniper gray and also sniper gray mixed with graphite black. As some bits have different grey when you study pics. I have breach stop files to print and breach mechanism on my Patreon to download.

Many mistake all bakes to be 5.45 so spelled it out.
