I like the reading lesson MUCH better. I checked out 100 easy lessons at the library and knew it wasn't going to work for me and my 5 year old. Pages are way too busy. I bought The Reading lesson from Amazon after seeing this review and it is going great. The book is very straightforward and fun for my kid. She looks forward to coloring and doing the different activities.

This was informative but the super colorful background made it hard to see.

I don’t know why there aren’t more wrestling gyms around. I’ve been trying to get my 9 year old into a wrestling program here in north Tx and we just don’t have them available. Found 1 very expensive, over commercialized place. 😩

If the shower curtain trick doesn't work, JoAnns/Amazon carries an iron-on vinyl that will make the fabric water resistant on one-side. I think the brand is Heat-n-Bond.

Do you have the link for the binders?

I bought similar folders and they worked out quite well. They didn't rip as easily and the ones I bought had erasable labels, but sure you can attach any label on there. Mine even dumped liquid on their folder and it wiped up easily without damaging the paperwork. I ended up just having the kids stack their folders in a drawer or off to the side, couldn't find something to hold them without being bulky.

I think it would be awesome if we could see some of the arts and crafts you guys do. 😀 Great video

We got the .9 bic mechanical pencils and they don’t snap near as easy as the .7 ones. I like them a lot better.

Do you just teach sewing based on what you know or do you have a book/curriculum/videos that you use for practice? I can show my daughter the basics of hand sewing but that's about it. She's very interested in learning and I think it's an important skill to know, so I'm looking for some guidance. Also, she's 9 right now for reference. :)

Genuine question: is it not concerning that there is no information about the author(s) of the curriculum available anywhere on the website? Like, who wrote it, what standards are they going by, what are the credentials/expertise of the author(s)?

Overall, would you recommend the science curriculum to secular families as an open-and-go curriculum? Would I need to supplement or prep for the lesson?

I just purchased this curriculum for my two oldest girls after watching your videos! Thank you for sharing! How do you assign work, do they have a planner or a notebook with their assignments? And do you keep track of their grades? I know Texas isn’t strict on that. Just wondering how my fellow Texas homeschool moms are doing it. I have 3 kiddos, going into 9th, 6th and 2nd so you’re videos are super helpful😊

I had to google maps 📍 at times for a state that was an eassy rather recent for 8th Grade Socal Studies). Especially doing 1690). Man my dyslexia brian was fried). Like wow). It was South Carolina when it was a colony finding a map from that time very difficult to find took me like 3 hours to find it). What i did was i save 💾 & file it. If u need suggestions to find maps 🗺️ for geography i can give recommendations). I use grammely app it is recommended for dyslexia ur oldest can use it on the iPad, PC, MacBook laptop 💻, cell phone 📱, for pouncing words). Before i used it a lot people roasted me on Instagram a lot people were not nice). I use Seri to pronounce as well ). It has helped my spelling improve a lot i barely get roasted by anyone anymore. My boyfriend & I use it a lot ). We can't wait to homeschool When we both have kids one Day! & married! If i see dyslexia i can use the tips for my Future kids). The gift of dyslexia program). For that).

Also forgot to mention there's a another Athiest homeschooling family ). They re” In Ohio.

Thank you for this! I would love a more in-depth look at the All-In-One curriculum, espectially the 7th grade. I am looking at using it for my 5th and 7th graders this year. I'm currently looking at the lesson plans and trying to pick out extra books to go along with social studies, science and literature. 😊
