Tanking birth rates is now common across all nations. For example Afghanistan's birth rate skyrocketed after the fall of the Taliban in 2001, then started to tank when the Taliban return to power in 2021. It is very hard to raise a family in a nation that has high costs of living, and it is even harder when a nation is extremely poor or has become a failed state.

"Not all men". Sure! Not all men, but somehow it's always a man. "Not all men will hurt you." That is true. But the risk of some men hurting women is enough for all women to be careful of all men. Men are cars and women are pedestrians. The reason why it's all on women to protect themselves bcs in the case collision of sth bad to happen, women have more to lose.

The real problem is for your national pension and retirement funds, these depend on constant population to provide adequate benefits for generations of people retiring from the workforce, decreasing populations make it so these funds deplete faster, forcing increased government spending and raising the age of retirement. All this lowers the quality of life in these countries

If you compare the problems of overpopulation with low birth rate problems the lbr problems are easier. Overpopulation leads to collapse- as our society here in Canada is about to collapse due to insane population growth.

Man until I got to 12, I was just about ready to join a cult. Thanks. I was at a bus stop last week with my son, and some lady approached some random guy and was saying things like, “Oh you look sad,” “Are you okay.” My son told me not to talk to her, but she wouldn’t talk to me anyway because I’m foreign. What the heck Korean cults?! This is discrimination on the highest order!

I think we are biologically wired to be social creatures and human cultures evolve to facilitate the kind of interpersonal relationships that increase survivability. Given that, romantic love is made up or a human construct. However, the complexities of love have been identified by much earlier civilizations. For example, the ancient Greeks had six words for love (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_words_for_love) from Agape for unconditional love, especially of a deity, to Philautia for self-love to Xenia or "guest-friendship". I found my wife via romantic love, and we were together for over 33 years before she passed in the fall of 2019.

If *lack of money* is the reason people are not having children, then why is that the poorest countries have the most babies and the richest countries have the least? Or why inside of a country the poorer classes of people have the most babies while the upper classes have the least?

200 gram rice Raw or Cooked? If 200 gram raw, then the portion is too much. Almost 3 times the Asian Chinese is eating. Chinese people eat 80 gram raw measure rice, then cook. That's 10kg (125 bowl of 80 gram rice)

Finding the right person should be happen on a young age when still having romantic feeling above all the other plus and minus reasons...if i had married the girl i loved the relationship should never ever be ended.... I know she loved me too, but lived together with someone ( unmarried) and i was afraid our friendship should be ended if i did ask her to live with me... I loved her for many years.. Cornelis, (63) the Netherlands.

The first thing I'd advice is to try to break the language barrier. You can either try a translator or consider learning the language and I recommend Immersive translate as it works for both.

The whole problem is what she says right at the start two parts water to one part rice "it's as simple as that". This is totally wrong and this is what leads to all the colander silliness. The water to rice ratio is closer to 1:1 (maybe 1 and 1/4 water but its def closer to 1:1) - so she's using almost twice as much water than needed.

I live in South Korea for the last 4 years and the reason why the Korean do not have kids anymore is because they are Broke most of them are in serious debt , still live at home with their Parents , they are flashy people and don't think about their future.

You have overlooked the real problem behind this whole mess. In fact you only mentioned about "Seoul" as if it was the only city that exists in South Korea, while in other countries there are many industrial zones with the possibility of growth in one's working career and raising a family; so the focal point is this: South Korea has centralized its economy only on Seoul and not on the whole nation, that is the cause. You can take what I say as untrue, because your arguments are justified and they are true, but the problem is found at the monetary level because of what you mentioned in the video: house prices are expensive because the very city places a hectic and incessant lifestyle on you; but it was because of this that South Korea became an economic powerhouse that it is now, but it did not go to improve living conditions nationally, only locally. My words are just speculation, it won't do any good and the living condition will remain depressing and the same over time until they clear this conception of "Seoul" itself.

Koreans are very good at playing victim. They cried out loud to the Japanese with so called: comfort women. And they ignored the fact that Korean soldiers had raped and slaughtered millions of Vietnamese women and young girls during the war. They had never acknowledged for their crime but kept demanding the apology from the Japanese
