Mine is a 2008 model- I swear, it is on par with my 1991 HD-28. Not sure why, but All-in, it’s the loudest and best sounding acoustic I’ve ever held.

It's a really nice guitar. But I would pay a lot less for the same exact guitar in blond.

Is just the body that is smaller, or is the fretboard also smaller? Thanks!

Am i ok to contridict myself? Because since i left this comment i have now purchased this sunburst J-200 inspired. And it just goes to show .that you should never judge what you hear from youtube.its so strange because the sound dont sound great from here. But i was a local music store and i tried one.and was blown away .very bassy and Deffinitly as good as the sigma. So i take back what i said they are just as good as the sigma. .why the sound isnt so good from watching on youtube anyones guess..but yes there brilliant id say 98% close to a gibsonj200 Deffinitly

great playing! the mic setup could be improved, put the second mic up at the strings where the neck meets the body, will be slightly brighter and more in phase, or go with a classic xy for best balance and phase. Try it and you will hear the results.

I have this guitar, it’s perfect but takes a little taming. D’Addario EJ19 Bluegrass PB which is Medium bass to light treble, plus a Blue Chip TD45 Pick, and I put it up against any other acoustic around. But I insist on this exact combo.
