That is interesting info on the nettles , here in Canada I keep an eye out for apple trees and lilac, the apple trees mean people lived and set up homesteads and the lilac was planted beside where the outhouse ( loo) would have stood as a natural air freshener 😉

Good clip , being a bell ringer , it’s classed as an ancient art . Interestingly enough they were originally used to call people to church, there were also used for weddings , funerals and lots of special occasions. One of the things that fascinates me as when I talk to other bellringers exactly the same conversation could be had in 1650 or to date 👍good luck and , all the best Andy 🤞

I have looked through my reference books and found Medieval rings with a Singular Gothic Capital letter surmounted by a Crown so .... the 'Crown' ? Is the key as the Letter could be either Roman or Medieval (being a simple 'I' )

Hi Ellie, you sound so much better since your last video. The ring is very nice I hope it’s Roman. Where I live in California there just aren’t allot or any finds that old unfortunately. So that’s why I like watching you find the old things. But I make up for the lack of old coins and such by finding gold nuggets. Stay well, John

Romans used that symbol for “wealth & prosperity” and maybe look into what rings were made first, I think medieval rings were usually round like thin wire, Roman was more flat and hence had space for patterns to be imprinted. So many wonderful “maybe”, “could be” stories, keep researching, let us know. This is why you do what you do and I enjoy it along the way with your vids. Thanks Ellie, Brun🇦🇺😀🦘
