WOW‼️ I don’t usually hear of a Bering yacht so disabled. Especially on the 70 [one we are considering] and a 2019 boat with so much wrong. Any idea as to why so many systems were down??

I’d say a shoulder holster would be perfect. With a life preserver over it. I have carried my pistol on my side but it digs into me. In Florida we are allowed to open carry while fishing hunting or camping. I also have my concealed. I deal with so many alligators stalking me and getting way too close. And huge sharks. 😂

I will definitely stick with the softopper. Cheaper, looks better and is more versatile. you can collapse it in under 2 minutes without even removing from the truck.

The "Life jackets" you are testing do their job just fine - You're testing the "floating-assistance" (Swimming jacket), not the "life-saving" jackets you're looking for. It is meant for the situations when you fall into the water far from shore and need to swim for a couple of hundred meters or even kilometers. That is why they even have a disclaimer "user must know how to swim". An unconscious person does not swim. I don't want to be a party pooper, but you are testing different types of jackets. The last one has a completely different standard. Please don't teach people the wrong things. It is like comparing regular shoes with football shoes. Face up = life jackets, staying afloat = swimming jackets

@@visionseeker7678 TRT? I'm flattered, but I'm completely natural. I'm to cheap and care to much about my health for that stuff. Yes, carnivore. Maybe like 90%..... So basically I eat pretty well, practice fasting and workout hard (CrossFit style mostly)

The fact that you felt bad for not telling the truth to that guy is awesome and a great trait of yours. The fact you felt bad and wanted to go make it right is a great lesson for young ones to learn, something awesome that a lot of people probably overlooked. Love it!

I love the part where you recommend for new people to not use a leash and use their their well developed sense of whether or not they need one in a body of water.

You’ve got a great boat there. I was trying to decide before I moved to St Aug whether to keep my boat in St John’s River or in St Aug. It’s since been sold as the kids grew up and moved. I’m really surprised at the waters you’re experiencing in your journey. Great stuff, keep watching the weather, as you know things can change fast on the water, from great to scary.

Hey Trip! Captain Jason from Seawell. This is one of the videos I was talking about. This is the video that made me take my pontoon to Lake Powell and camp on it for a month. I thought if you could camp from a skiff I could do it on my pontoon. Hope you make more videos of your own adventures!

Hey Trip I'm from Panama City, FL and I grew up shrimping along the gulf coast and out of Port St Joe, FL. I think you did a pretty darn good job at trawling lol, we get in hangers all the time and you never know what you'll pull up. One time we were trawling near an Air Force base where they did a lot of training and caught a military backpack with a compass, pocket knife and a bunch of other cool stuff lol. Shrimping is really hard labor though but nothing beats being out on the water and eating fresh seafood everyday! I hope that you can do more of these trawling catch and cook vidoes in the future! I really enjoyed it! Have a great day and be safe out there!

I'm thinking the "fences " you asked about going into the bridge are for breaking the current/rough water for safer passage under the bridge. Especially if passing with another boat nearby. Less chances of being pushed around by hard moving water. Just my instinct. I see them by most bridges up here in the NE.

I just about never subscribe. You are doing exactly what I want to do!!! I want to build a 13 foot skiff. I have very little experience on smaller boats in bays or inshore ocean runs. I would like to take the skiff out to the wrecks off the shoreline. 2 miles out. Is that reasonable on calm days? Am I crazy? I plan on building the FS13 skiff. I live in NJ. What size boat is the one in this video?
