Moving around. Should one not do the same movements and be predictable? Do different movements?
@jacelawmma2 сағат бұрын
Moving around is just a drill to get your legs stronger to be able to carry your weight in a real fight. To be able to pivot or jump in/jump out in a split second without having to think about it. Hope this helps 👍

hi, as a beginnner, is it normal to get fked up in my first few sparring session?
@jacelawmma2 сағат бұрын
Well yes, is the person you sparred with higher level than you? If so, you will definitely be “fked up”. As long as he doesnt go all out and try to take your head off for real its all good, try and learn his movements, his habits. And adjust yourself from there, you will eventually get better. Like i mentioned in my video safety first so dont go hard. Hope this helps 👍

@MikeJones-uq4zj5 күн бұрын
Boxing or mma when feet move they should never come close. Maintain your stance. You are pulling your lead leg back to your rear. MMA will take you down immediately. Muay Thai thigh kick will devastate.
@jacelawmmaКүн бұрын
I’ve been using my footwork in all my fights and I’ve never faced any of those problems because pulling my lead leg back is only done when I’m far away enough from my opponents reach. That being said, my style is far from perfect and I’m always trying to improve. I appreciate the feedback my friend. 🙏

Is it possible to box (Sparring) safely?
@heliomachit565124 күн бұрын
Yes, you spar at 20% power and keep the same aggression as a real fight.
@jacelawmma24 күн бұрын
Yes u can spar safely, personally I dont clench my fist fully so the impact is lessened on my sparring partner. For the speed i try to go as fast as I can, remember sparring is just a simulation for a real fight so we should leave our egos out of it and focus on our techniques and combos. I’m actually in the midst of editing my new video which is about sparring so stay tuned 🙏

Why the fixatiion on 100 reps? I mean there are people who can´t do a single push up and mostly this video will be seen by beginners.
@jacelawmma2 ай бұрын
Good question, I guess its more like aim high so even even when you don’t reach your goal of a 100 reps you’d still do more than if you had set yourself up for let’s say 40 or 50 reps per exercise.

Brother I mean no hate by this but your footwork has a fundamental flaw, you are bringing your front foot all the way back to your rear foot when skipping around. If someone times you doing that and steps in you will be flattened. I’m not a pro but that’s just my two cents
@jacelawmma3 ай бұрын
