Thanks for this demonstration. I'm new to quilting and have only used binding so appreciate this. Is there a video about the sleeve that you do and how you hang so flatly to the wall?

I can't figure pout how to send you a photo of it. If you want to send me your email address, I will send you a photo. It's called Ox in the Woods, and is about the Year of the Ox, 2021, when I felt like the world was so crazy that the Ox would be lost in the woods.

What a great story! It’s great to share good stories. There’s not much kindness out there so when we hear of someone doing something nice it makes all of us have some hope. Great story with a good ending. Thanks for sharing.

I would have believed the seller and I’m an older woman. I suspect this is due to buying and selling online and looking people up online. Also, scammers go for higher amounts than $50. Are most of the women teachers? The teachers I know have very little experience using the Internet. Their jobs are too demanding of their time.

Joe, you are a wonderful story-teller! I shared this with both my husband and son, separately, reserved my comments, and waited for their responses. They both laughed out loud! I did too, noticing the familiarity of your experience! Kudos to you for taking a chance and opening up a whole lot of good!

Beautiful and inspirational as I was started my first Kawandi project while listening to this youtube for a sound background. I'm 72 and have been evolving over the last 8 or 9 months of working with textiles, embroidery, sashiko, slow stitching, etc after a 40 year hiatus. I loved Margaret's incorporation of a necktie in her work....I wondered why my husband has saved all of his ties...well...I always jump ahead in thinking and imagining...but it's important to DO and take my luxurious time and let the art unfold with all of it's surprises and allow the critical part of my mind be silent.

if it's a watercolour, try and put it in a place away from natural light, otherwise it will fade

Our neighbors help each other. We are different races, religion, and work history. We share produce from the garden, monitor a live trap, plow snow in winter. I believe in the good of people. Good for you for believing. We change the world believing in goodness and joy.

What a delightful story! The painting is lovely -- reminds me of the kind of house I grew up in back in southwestern Quebec. And yes, I hope it restores Carol's faith in humanity -- at least a litte!

Thank you so much for piecing together thus enlightening video. I love that in wach of the separate clips Margaret was wearing different clothes with a different quilt in the back ground. My quilt making is very much like jazz -I struggle with traditional patterns and use found scraps. I feel validated , comforted and inspired. Bless you both . ❤ Annie from the misty mountains of Snowdonia Wales, UK xxx

7:56 What a wonderful finish. I have just completed a hexagon English paper piece quilt and was struggling with how to complete the edges as I didn’t want to compromise the pattern. I will use the facing technique which you demonstrated beautifully.
