I did this on my MK8 GTI with DCC. Total waste of money and time. It was undrivable until recalibrating the DCC. After that, it still bottomed out across every imperfection on the highway. Do not do this with a DCC. That suspension cost you $2500, and it is a great suspension. Wait until it's shot and put coilovers in. Highly recommend adding camber/caster top mounts though.

Hey Pete, I'm considering selling my RS5 8t and switching to the RS3 DAZA. You've driven both, so maybe you can tell me which one drives better? The RS3 is definitely much faster because, on stage 2 with 500hp, it can do 100-200 km/h in 7.5 seconds, while the RS5 takes 10 seconds. I've heard a lot of opinions that the RS3 is like a Golf on steroids and, apart from the 5-cylinder sound, it doesn't offer much more

I've heard some bad stories about IE tunes and that they are too aggressive etc. everyone is saying safest is 034 motorsport. what are your thoughts?

I had my mk6 for 7 years. Aside from the recall for the emissions, I had zero issues. I had 110k miles (50k when I bought it), I miss it everyday. But I never once changed the spark plugs.

I have the APR TCU tune on my 2017 GTI with the DQ250, love the tune. I have done the dog bone mount stage 1, I love the way it shifts in drive or manual after switching to sport. I almost never use sport because the rpm’s stay high all the time which prevents you from using all the low-end torque of the IS20.

Instead of the rs3 u should’ve just swapped in the daza to the R 🙌🏽😼

did you have to recalibrate your DCC on he VWR springs ? I remember asking someone in forums about springs and they'd mentioned they had to recalibrate theirs and I was curious as to how that's done or even necessary

Personally, I don’t like the front amber deletes. Others looks good 👍. I love badgeskins, I used them on my golf r, and current rs3 also.

Mine was too loud and peak loud and raspy was 2.5K-3.5K deafening. Added the vibrant resonater and worked great.

Can confirm 7.5 GTI is great in city driving. And with these drivers, it’s a lifesaver. Ducked a few close calls and been here a month😅

I’ve driven a few Audi’s in the early 2000’s but I definitely like this car more than anything I’ve seen released. Looking forward to going and taking an S3 out for a run. Ive got my eye on a 2020 w/ low kms with some tasteful upgrades that gives it an even better look. But overall the smaller but stocky stance to this car along with enough power to enjoy my drive into work especially living with some pretty heavy snow makes this car a great option for me. Now I know I could stick to my 2021 Mazda 3 AWD Turbo HB which is a solid machine. Like everything it’s nice to change it up and this may be the one to swap with. Never been a fan of yellow but it’s looks damn good on that S3. Golf R or S3 ? Appreciate the video! I will keep my 2017 Accord V6-6 speed Coupe always because until they build a new one that comes close to 300 N/A HP & 6 speed manual. With all this EV nonsense going on. It’s nice hearing the sound of a great gas powered motor which at some point will be on the endangered species list.

How did you get the gauges on the centre screen? I have a 7.5R and don't seem to have that feature.

I understand the feeling of letting your former best car go. You had many good memories with the car. I am in the market for an rs3 but I just can't get myself to sell my R yet. It just looks so good and it drives so well. It's not a 5 cylinder like the rs3 but add some mods to it at it will be pushing 400 HP no problem. Amazing car. I decided that I will keep my R for a few more years, tune it and drive the living crap out of it. Once prices for rs3's drop and when I put a good amount of miles on the R, I will sell it then.
