This randomly popped up in my feed and it’s always nice to see a POV of someone driving through the same places that I’ve driven through for work and where I reside! I’m going to miss it when I leave.

Last time i drove though that tunnel in boston was when i bought my B5 S4! wish i could go back there now with my loud ass Golf R! it be pretty crazy!!

Can confirm 7.5 GTI is great in city driving. And with these drivers, it’s a lifesaver. Ducked a few close calls and been here a month😅

Last march I drove from Toronto to Boston in my 2012 golf 2.5. The sudden snow storm had me fly off on the turn around Rochestor and land on a ditch full of snow about 3-4 feet. They had to use a winch to pull me out and carried on for another 8 hours through storm. Wish I had 4motion could have been a lil more help I guess. (my car was in winter tires)As soon as i reached Mass turn pike I thought the conditions of the roads were very bad it was hard to see the lines and lots of big water puddles that could steer your car the other way and when I reached the city of Boston immediately I felt the narrow streets. Thank god I as driving a golf which is perfect for any city. Nice city I would love to drive there again.

This is litterally the same route i take 😅 the bridge u were on is called zakim the tunnel is called the big dig aka oneil tunnel the exit u took in the tunnel leads to financial district @5:47 u were in the quincy market area on ur right hand side.. the area where u pointed at where ur buddy "alex lives" is the beacon hill area and thats where the state house is with the golden dome and boston common park

I actually found the drivers/traffic in Boston to be tame compared to cities like NYC. Every time I leave NY and go to another state, I'm always amazed how much tamer the drivers are.

M2 N55 would be a nice move its the only next move I could see or the cheaper version the 335is if I had a next car and could not afford a R or A3 or GTI!

Grew up in the suburbs of Boston so this brought back memories. Went to college in VT and the drive up to Lake Champlain was beautiful. From there you can go up to Montreal. Also enjoyed the ride out to Cape Cod. Would love more POVs around New England. 👍

GTI is awesome for boston i can fit anywhere with it and it makes going through downtown easier i use my sparco 18s and only draw back is my stock suspension with nuespeed springs takes a total on them. hopefully a full coilover can do better

My cousin used to drive a Subaru STi hawkeye in Mass. He said he didn't want to go into the inner city, because there's too many Massholes driving in Boston. 😡

Why are you driving in first gear so much? Thats so terrible for a DSG. Please just shift up earlier.. otherwise you will need to replace your dsg asap.. 6:25 downshifting to first is so so so bad for a DSG my man..
