Howdy! I am using cedar in a natural house build and was thinking I'd like to use it in my van because of bugs. I'm a building apprentice doing a straw bale and earth plaster build in southern indiana. Was curious if you ever thought about having an apprentice? I have a super cute 1997 dodge ram van with cool artwork on the outside that's sort of built out but could be much cooler

Hey there, I'm really curious what you did with the wire loom on the drivers side? I'm building out a chevy express and it's so hard to find footage of what everyone does with those wires. Thanks in advance!

Love your series! I am Norwegian planning to do the Pan American Highway in the next month, and I am currently thinking about building an easy van build on the road, love your easy and functional advise!

Did you remove the wires or were they already removed when purchased? I’m unsure whether i should takeout or seal with tubing? I don’t wanna remove something needed

Amazing. Exactly my thought. Got all the materials for my own DIY build today and came across your video this evening. I thought of doing a height of 9" overall and for the sides I am thinking of plywood instead of the lumber. However, 1x6 is a good idea too. Wish you had covered the rest of build too. My dimensions are 43x37 for the top and 41x37 for the actual box. Planning to do 3/4 plywood sides. I see that you put screws on the joints. Are they strong enough? I am thinking of pocket holes. The interesting part is that I have never done carpentry in my life and this is going to be my first project. Got myself Bosch Jigsaw and the Ryobi Circular saw today. Doing the necessary calculations for the cuts tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I can make a more detailed video if this is something you are interested in! The box is so incredibly strong I’ve had a variety of heavy stuff on this thing and it’s in the same condition as the day I built it! Absolutely love it and highly recommend to any 4Runner owners.

What is the actual width of the back of the van? I have a transit connect and it would be literally impossible to sleep width wise, it's like 4ft. lol... i'm looking to upgrade one day

People that don't like what you do and comment on your channel probably have a sexual fetish for little furry animals. I;myself, like most sensible people, have sense enough to change the channel. Lol

Can you imagine how annoying a drone would be well you’re out there trying to enjoy the peace and quiet, a fishing and birds and animals. Do you have a drone Buzzin that’s rude dude.
@SeizeTheAdventure2 ай бұрын
I have the Mavic mini 2. It’s a relatively small lightweight drone that makes very little noise. This is Detroit lake where there’s a highway running alongside with massive wake surfing vessels blaring hip hop. My tiny drone isn’t disturbing anyone but rather bringing you some beautiful footage 😁
@georgepittmanjr79052 ай бұрын
@@SeizeTheAdventure hey I apologize I just want to say it just adds to the noise pollution. That’s all the pictures are spectacular and enjoyable, but you are right between the motorboats The Highway and the drones not to mention the wind last weekend. It is additional noise pollution one old man’s opinion I am sure I am still entitled to freedom of speech. Great pictures

One other note, I grew up on sailboats all over the world. Van lifers never have to consider sinking. Lmfao!
