You don't need to pull the tube out of the main body to empty the leaf collector bag. You can easily loosen the fabric / plastic clip on the end of the bag whilst it is still over your shoulder > carry it to wherever and empty the bag. Bag goes back on quickly and easily too with a gentle tug on the fabric.

I tired it that way when I first got the blower/vac and struggled to get the cloth back over the plastic tube. I'll try removing the sock from the tube again the next time I use the vacuum.

Hey Kool Bob, Steve Bob here. Seriously, that's my name. Traded in my Silverado on a 2020 Black Edition because the chevy wouldn't fit in my garage. Zero regrets so far. If you need a truck that puffs up the ego, this isnt it. If you need a truck that does everything else extremely well, this is it.

Probably a dumb question but does having wheels make it easier to use? Or does the pressure of the water sort of make the surface cleaner "hover" over the concrete? I thought without wheels it would be a pain to push back and forth. Thank you!

That shiny plastic clear portion of the decal is not permanent. It is intended only for protection of the raised decal underneath for shipping. Remove the plastic tape looking part of the decal and the raised silver letters of the decals will be permanently left upon the speakers. I have the walnut R700s, R400 and R900s and all are this way.
@Koolbob26 күн бұрын
Have you ever auditioned a pair of new speakers and immediately knew that you would probably be returning them? That's how I felt about the R700s. I positioned them face to face a few inches apart, wired one out of phase and left them playing fairly loud to break them in. Re-auditioning them a week later I knew they were going back and I didn't make any effort to peel off the plastic. I am glad to learn that it's just protection and not part of the logo. I next auditioned a pair of KEF LS50s on loan from a friend with a REL subwoofer. Although I preferred them over the R700, I again thought my old handmade speakers sounded better. I did keep a pair of Martin Logan electrostatic speakers for over a month and came very close to keeping them, but even though they excel in many areas, they fall short in other areas. Back they went. In the end, upgrading my 27-year-old components to use with my old speakers gave the best results by far.

I bought this kit for two small dents I have on the fridge. I’ve tried 7 times and it has not worked. The attachment just pops off after 2 pulls of the crank without pulling the dent out.
@Koolbob27 күн бұрын
I think there may be some residual film from some soap, cleaner, or protectant keeping the glue from sticking. Or there could even be a 'non-stick' coating on the stainless steel. I'd recommend throughly cleaning the surface with something like dawn dishwashing soap, simple green, 409, etc. then cleaning with alcohol and trying again. You might also find good tips on the dent puller manufacturer's web site. Please let us know if you have any luck.

What tool did you use to make the notches in the top of your 2" pvc. And Ajso what did you use to space the notches so exactly?
@Koolbob210 күн бұрын
I held the PVC pipe up to the top of the PGP sprinkler and made marks on the pipe where the notches needed to be with a sharpie. I then put the pipe in a vice and cut notches with a hacksaw, but now that I have an angle grinder I would use that with a cut-off wheel.

I can’t get hose to connect to tank, HELP!!
@Koolbob212 күн бұрын
Are you having trouble with connecting your garden hose to the water inlet on the pressure washer or is it the high-pressure hose that connects the spray wand that you're having trouble with. The high-pressure hose has a black rubber O-ring on each end that is a really snug fit, try lubricating it with a dab of dish soap and then wiggling the fitting when you push it into the wand/pressure washer. If it's the garden hose you are having trouble with make sure the male end of the garden hose hasn't been run over and deformed.

I can't seem to figure out how to build you sprinkler body removal tool. Gluing a 4-inch pop-up head to the Hunter spray head is difficult. Are you selling it? Do you know of a company that has implemented your design and sells it? I found two products online that fail miserably because they are not designed to properly grip the sprinkler body *at the bottom* like the Hunter spray head does. Those designs try to grip the ribs on the side walls of the body, which does not create a strong enough grip.
@Koolbob212 күн бұрын
The Hunter PGP spray head fits the body perfectly, but it needs to be lengthened so you have something to grab on to. I was scrounging around for something plastic so I could use PVC pipe cement to quickly bond the two together and discovered an old RainBird housing was just the right size. Honestly, anything would do. Maybe you can find a PVC pipe or pipe fitting that is a good fit. You could also expand your search beyond plastic, a large wooden dowel could be glued to an old PGP spray head with two-part epoxy or even a bit of metal pipe. Anything that makes the gutted spray head longer will do.

What machine do you used? I want to buy the whole set. Thank you
@Koolbob215 күн бұрын
I'm using a Husqvarna 128LD string trimmer, it's rated at 1hp. I wouldn't recommend any less than 1hp since it takes more power to run the hedge trimmer attachment than it does to operate the standard string trimmer attachment. If I were shopping for a string trimmer today I would probably buy the commercial duty Husqvarna 525LK with about 30% more power than my current trimmer. Any string trimmer with 1hp or more and the ability to use different attachments should do just fine.

Our irrigation system is about 20-years old now and I just replaced another PGP head using my tools a couple of days ago. I usually end up replacing a few each season and I've pretty much perfected my technique and can replace and raise a sprinkler head using only my two tools, the adjusting tool that comes with the head and a small hand spade in only a few minutes. I still can't believe Hunter Industries wasn't interested in my tools, but I'm always happy to hear they have helped a fellow home owner.
