Thank you! Does the external drive need to be plugged in all the time when using the computer from now on or is there someway to create a Drive within the system so I can remove the external hard drive?

Yes, you can get the hard drive repalced at a store, or do it yourself - Thats what I did. I made another video on this step. If the softwear steps here dont work, Its normal either the hard drive thats broken, or the connecting cable, Best of luck.

I found my problem with solution 2 my SSD was falling out so it did not appear when a did alt thanks 👍

I did this and it is great, but for photos taken in aspect ratio 1:1 can I fix them and get then in other aspect ratio like 3:4?

I had this issue with my MacBook. After running some tests and researching I realized it was an ssd problem which was weird because the ssd was never replaced and is oem. The ssd is sometimes not being detected but others times is.

I am not a tech person at all with computers, but let me tell you..this video was so helpful!!! I was trying to help my brother fix his laptop because for he forget Apple ID, Password, Recovery Key, etc. Ugh! I got so frustrated! So just watch all these youtube videos and THIS one helped alot! Resetting the whole laptop to start fresh all over. I didn;t care what got erased on my brothers computer. LOL. Overall great tutorial!

For some reason my Mac isn’t updating and when I do it freezes, this is the second time I had to do this. My Mac is pretty old since it’s second hand( it’s a 2015 Mac) so that’s why it’s probably glitching

Any idea how to have files deleted off the back of the camera come off BOTH cards? Currently, mine only deletes off Card 2. If I grab the wrong card, I get all the ones I intended to delete, and have to cull them out again.

I believe it’s a safety function. You can’t format both cards at same time. Myself and pro friends have checklists on our phones to remember steps before each shoot. Maintenance , backup shoots, format cards, kit to take etc
