Wow, exactly where my mindset and thoughts are at in so many moments of that podcast albeit only at the start of an entrepreneurial journey. Prob why I got led here!

Could you share a bit about what you experience as the soul? I often find it hard to express or define and love hearing how others do so.

Ahaah ask the easy questions I see brother. I feel this has been something many have been trying to express in almost every spiritual tradition there is and I will share my perspective upon it. I see it as the one that draws me into life. That speaks to me in dreams and intuition that pulls me along a path that was already laid for me. She speaks in ecstasy and bliss, from desire and from pain. She calls me ever deeper into myself and into the infinite void of myself. Language for me is a way she shares herself. She sits within the spaces of these words, as perhaps I can never quite touch her, yet it is there she lives. She speaks in the great poets and the songs of our hearts. Intangible and unfathomable, it is for her that we long most. Over and over we try and grasp her, yet she is fluid, ever changing, shifting and perhaps no true way can be told of what or who she is. For she is something more and outside the constraints of language. I know when I touch her, I feel her. Yet when asked, what I had touched, that I could not say. These are my humble attempts at describing her

@thedeanbentley your words sing in my ears. Appreciate you taking a stab at this question with no clear or right answer. A sense of soul as elusive, enticing, ever pulling down and into the path of our deepest truth. We seek her though we may never truly know her. Your description reminds me of the 'Song of Wandering Angus' by Yeats. Is there a particular poem or song that you love as a nod to soul?

@@duncanende6907it’s funny you mention Yeats. That poem is in my mind as I’m writing deeper on this for another piece currently. Yeats often inspires me with that poem. Rilke has many offerings that I feel can capture it, alongside of Rumi in certain aspects. Yet when I look deeper, at the musings of a lover to his beloved, in a sense I believe it is to soul he speaks and that yearning is for these parts of ourselves. Marc Gafni has incredible work around eros and shechina which also capture this through another lense.
