There is a 1:05:38 by a Chinese player. But he said his game froze after beating the final boss (no "God Slain" is shown on screen although the boss did die). Also the vod is not on youtube.

Edit: You don’t even need to jump, just go to the bridge of the castle and the portal will be activated and you can go directly to the fight by the elevator

I'm assuming it's to despawn the sanguine noble that was following him. Those guys follow you from the previous room and they can throw reduvias like kukris which would probably oneshot. So I'm assuming it's just a safety quit out.
