I am glad Stephanie Mills was there to help the Legend, Chaka Khan.

Chaka disappointed and embarrassed herself.however her music catalog is still one of the greatest and her voice and high notes are still iconic,Regardless of the bad show.Her manager should be fired .Hats off to Stephanie mills another legendary vocal queen.This is first versus I seen someone sing theirs and opponents songs😂😂😂😂We still love Chaka khan till the end!

I love the sister love that Stephanie showed. She was not gonna let her sister look bad. I love Stephanie she is a true performer. She comes to NJ in the summer to do shows in the park and it’s ALWAYS AMAZING. Chaka still got her voice, but I feel whoever she has around her is not for her good. Family, friend or foe.

Chaka Khan is such a part of our history. Her music is the tapestry of Our Lives. I just don't know why she can't stop sabotaging herself. She looks amazing her voice is still there. But it's just hard for her to stay on the straight and narrow. Stephanie Mills is what you call a true dedicated artist. She don't play around when it comes to her music and her purpose. She was a true backbone for the night. She represented true Sisterhood. We're grateful that both of these Legends are still with us. As fans let's pray for a intervention before it's too late.

Considering their age, I'm proud that both ladies are in phenominal shape! The last time I saw Chaka(and that's been some time ago), she was not as small as she is in this video. It is obvious that Chaka is not sober. But she held it together as best she could. I'm sure Stephanie Mills knew something was amiss with Chaka, but rather than exposing it, she powered through it. That shows professionalism, couteousness and respect! Kudos to both of these R & B Legends!

Why did it seem like Stephanie was singing live and Chaka over her tracks? There was this bad layered effect going on with Chaka. More like karaoke. Stephanie looked like a live concert even though both were playing music tracks. They should have made it more even. Ms. Mills slayed. Her rich low notes with the heavy vibrato was hitting hard. Just beautiful, and she was working the stage. And, y'all thought it was an uneven match up. I knew Stephanie would not be playing.

Stephanie is the type of friend everyone should have, very supportive, encouraging, and uplifting... She is simply amazing and she put on a great show chaka is great also. I hope she's not sick or anything if not then she needs help, treatment, or intervention...

If you go to a Chaka Khan concert in the past she has on many occasions been somewhat intoxicated she also has a problem sometimes remembering the lyrics to her own songs Stephanie Mills on the other hand in many instances does sound absolutely awesome. My only complaint with Stephanie Mills when I saw her live her shows performance was excellent but very very short. One other thing about Stephanie Mills was I was really surprised about how short she is.

So sad for CK…. Her manager and team need to be fired… how or why would you let her go on stage in that state. Hats off to you SM for holding it down for you both. Prayers for you CK.

Two Grand Diva's, and I have all of there albums/and whatever is on cd's. Loved Chaka when she fronted for Rufus, featuring Chaka Khan. At times Chaka is a hit/miss in concerts, from being way to high, but she is still one of rb's greatest female artist. As for Stephanie, she is always on her "A" game. Saw Stephanie in Philly in the mid 80's, she blew me away. Stephanie's "I Feel Good All Over" can't be duplicated.

Stephanie delivered, I love her energy. Was really surprised about Chaka wasn't expecting her state. Didn't she see how crazy Keith Sweat looked on that stage drug. But Keith did sound good. I've seen Chaka live and she can sing without a mic too a large crowd that much power in her voice. But only some of her riffs were good. At times she sounded like drunk karaoke. Her catalog was hitting though.

I enjoyed the verses Chaka was very high no doubt, she should have cancelled. Stephanie did really good, she has always been so professional.

No idea what Chaka was on, hopefully she was just drunk. And hopefully she’ll take care of herself cause I kind of worry for her. I’m a huge fan of both of them and Stephanie was amazing, both her singing and the way she had Chaka’s back. And although I’m somewhat worried that Chaka was on some kinda drugs I don’t think it’s impossible that it was just the booze, sometimes you drink too much too fast and then it suddenly takes over, especially if you didn’t eat enough. Same thing goes for weed. Hope that it’s nothing else and that we’ll see the Chaka we know performing on some stage again soon!

I grew up in the 70s and these 2 women were hot, I seen Chaka at the Chicago Fest in the late 70s, and sad to say she was high than too.. However; I think Stephanie Mills handled the entire situation very well, and the 2 of them look fabulous.

I love them both and Stephanie voice and energy is flawless. Chaka was giving high vibes and didn't seem as bubbly or feisty as usual. Stephanie was being supportive to Chaka while totally blowing her out the water

I liked this Verzuz but Chaka's "state" of being made it hard sometimes. I admired Stephanie's professionalism to lend her "shoulder" to Chaka when needed. Both of these ladies made their mark and don't have to prove anything to me! I think Melba Moore or someone else as accomplished would have been a better fit though because Chaka was a little out of it. I also agree that tradional r&b music has been pushed aside by today's "black" music scene and I wish it was more inclusive tom accept r&b as well.

The show was good but Stephanie Mills never drink Stephanie Mills never smoked and Stephanie Mills never did drugs people when you do all that stuff in your youth it will show as you get older. Maybe Chaka Khan was having trouble with her heart and it had nothing to do with her drinking. But the show overall was very entertaining. And I think Shaka was a little shocked that Stephanie did that well. But Stephanie has Broadway experience. And that makes a big difference of the performer. Stephanie did not have to hit no high note don't nobody do low notes like she do.

I haven't seen the Chaka Khan versus Stephanie Mills battle. But I look forward to watching the battle soon. More than the last 45 plus years, Chaka has had a broader impact on overall success than Stephanie. We have to consider her feature vocals for Rufus with hits such as "Tell me something Good, "Stay," "Everlasting Love," "Ain't Nobody," and the Iconic "Sweet Love," to name a few. According to Billboard magazine, Chaka remains one of the top 25 most influential female artists of all time. I encourage you guys to listen to some of Chaka's live performances from years ago. Especially at Montreux Jazz Festival. Now, 30 years ago, Stephanie would have had a stronger challenge from Chaka. With age and abuse issues, Chaka's vocal gift has taken a drastic hit. Hence, Aretha Franklin and Whitney Houston vocals suffer because of smoking cigarettes or other contributing issues. Now, that is not minimalized by Stephanie's vocal gifts. I believe Chaka and Stephanie are about the same age. But I believe Stephanie took care of herself better than Chaka. Stephanie still has it. Stephanie's iconic song, "Home," is a cultural classic. I love them both. It's just I would instead witness this battle in their primes.
