Great video but All ya had to do is pull on the bottom of the grill and it would have popped right off. Making it easier to get to the two lower bolts

What is the size of the fog light LED ?

These work, but the much better, cheaper and safer way to fix this situation is to just buy a new Turn Signal Relay that is rated for LED bulbs. Literally, that's it. You don't have to buy a resistor for every bulb, and install all of them, just pull out the old relay and plug in the new one. I drive a 1992 Toyota Pickup and replaced every single light to an LED, and had to either buy a bunch of these things, or just one LED relay.

the product looks good, but I tried finding your website and it looks very sketch. are you still in business? URL says it's not secure, and the home page looks very simple with nothing but three links on it, none for HID lighting.

they dont, cameras have a frame rate. The camera frame rate interferes with the pulsing frequency of the leds. The LEDS pulse at a frequency faster than the eye perceives so we dont see it in normal vision. But on camera, they appear to flicker because the camera is catching instants of the leds pulsing at different times and places.

You don’t have to pull it all off actually. Just follow instructions till 3:00 and you should be able to reach under it. It’s a little cramped but it works. I recommend this for everybody. Sound is splendid afterwards. Can’t believe I drove for almost 12 months with active sound

Hi, I have installed HID on my Lexus CT200h. When I start the engine, (with the option "automatic headlights") the left side turns on, but the right side doesn't. I need to turn off and to turn on the headlights manually and in this case the 2 sides start successfully. Any idea? My ballasts are without Canbus. Thanks a lot..

If you cut the wheels all the way to one side, turn to right for left side and fully left for the right side it will afford you a bit more wiggle room to get in there….

Your a live saver man thank you! I went and picked up a multimeter and the resisters tonight to fix the issue on my jeep. I had known putting LED in where halgonens were stock it would trick the car but I didn’t know I needed a resistor. Anyway, thank you!

I have the same setup with the harness but after awhile they would shut off and turn back on, other times they’ll just shut off and won’t turn on unless I start up the car again, I’ve tried everything, using different ballasts and decoders and still have the same problem, my car is a 2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit, don’t know if that makes a difference.

So, several things about this video that need addressing. First, the LED you installed has a very poor design and construction. Plastic base. Horrendous heat dissipation. It should aluminum. Cheap, poor design. Second, proper placement of the LED in the socket assures a correct beam pattern. You just put it in there without placing it the right way. The beam pattern is most likely wrong. Lastly, you don't need a resistor cable, Kias are not that sensitive and it won't give you a fault. I can't emphasize enough that unless you position the bulb properly, especially on a projector lens, the beam pattern won't be right and the illumination will be distorted. Aside from that, that LED bulb looks like it came out of a Cracker Jack box. Get a professional lighting expert to properly do an LED upgrade/retrofit.

FYI I feel if you only intend to replace one bulb or maybe 2 on the same side, going in through the wheel well is the better approach. But, if you intend to replace bulbs on both sides and multiple bulbs, I recommend considering the procedure recommended in the Altima mechanic's manual... Which is to remove the front bumper which allows you to then unbolt and remove the headlight assemblies. Note that Nissan construction of the front part of the car is very flimsy, so if you do this you may find that due to previous collisions that reassembling might be an adventure if a lot of panel attachments have been deformed and might need some pulling and pushing back into position. In any case on my 2015 Altima, I only needed to remove 4 bolts on top and a couple of fasteners in the wheel wells to pull my bumper forward without removing the bolts that secure the bottom of the bumper. With the top of the bumper pulled forward, I had enough room to undo the bolts holding the headlight assemblies and pull them out and once that was possible all the lightbulbs are easy to access... High, low and foglight. For anyone who is changing their low beam headlights because they're dim though, don't do anything until you read the comment I posted about the Suarez vs Nissan Northamerica class action lawsuit that was settled in 2021. Although the settlement in this case outrageously won't fix the factory defect after Oct 2022, you should know about this and maybe report this to NHTSA so that maybe a proper recall would be issued. If you can't find my post immediately for this video about this, maybe scroll all or most of the comments and do a search for my name and maybe "like" the comment so that others might have an easier time finding the comment which is very important for anyone with dim headlights and owns a Nissan Altima.
